Yeah thats the localization weirdness I was talking about. That was originally a pun on the japanese word for stereo. There's a lot of that stuff in the investigation sequences. Localization is hard, and this game's translation isn't quite Ace Attorney level

The localization in the game is generally pretty good, but there are some parts, usually the optional investigation stuff where the jokes just don't land. Lots of Japanese puns that are hard to translate.

And of course all the themes of "AI", "ai" and "eye" that's maybe a little more obvious in Japanese. Ay ay ay

This is pretty much the death knell for GB, right? Most of the memorable series of the last 5 years were his brainchilds. Demo Derby, This is the Run, Steal my Sunshine, Shenmue ER, Hitsmas, Winter Games, etc. etc.
