We've had dozens of tornado warnings in my area, and in the past 20 years not a single house or building in my city has been damaged/destroyed by a tornado.

The first one is one of the best video game movies. Good soundtrack, (mostly) great effects, and a compelling story that goes its own way and introduces a cool new angle; the red queen is basically iconic.

The second one was a horrendous dumpster fire, and I hate it so much.

Some of the later ones are good fun, though.

Great cutscenes and production value, terrible as actual games. If you don't care about fighting games, though, you'll probably like it.

To expand on this, the spectacle is fantastic. The gameplay is fairly simple; there are complex combos you can do using cancels and glitches and different supports, but the meat of the game is a one-button combo system structured more around building/conserving chakra (and substitutions later in the series) and holding damage until you know it's going to stick.

If you're just playing it as a fan of Naruto it's probably the best anime-related game series out there. The free-roaming is really cool, the story is detailed and lengthy, and each character is accurately depicted both visually and combat-wise.

It's fanservice, and it's a lot of it. There's depth to the battle system if you look for it, but most people won't get past the surface. I never did.

A lot of the contestants take themselves too seriously to sing a joke song. Especially since parodies are based on songs that already exist, and 'joke songs' aren't generally made to be musically sophisticated.

That said, I don't make a habit of watching these shows, so it might have already happened. and I have no idea.

They're all good, and each one is better than the last. I don't recall exactly how long they are, but from 1-4 they cover the entire series, story-wise, with lots of boss battles and cutscenes.

The arrogance of the Jedi order (as a whole) was one of the major themes of the prequel trilogy. A lot of it was done on purpose.

star wars inability to get away from mystery reveals of true identity has seriously but me off the series as a whole. its pervasive in all the media, completely reliant on making everyone either related to or secretly someone.

This has really only happened like...five or six times, total? Luke and Leia being Vader's kids can count as three if you really, really want it to. Rey being a Palpatine, Padme being the queen (not much of a mystery since it's revealed in her first movie,) and Snoke being one of Palpatine's puppets.

Ben/Kylo Ren being Han/Leia's son isn't even a mystery, it's revealed like a third of the way through the first movie he's in.

Pretty solid ranking, but I think Thor and Thor 2 are both at least C-tier. I don't dislike them as much as a lot of people do. Big agreement on almost everything else, though.

It's a bit funny, too, because initially I hated Thor 3 because it was 'too funny,' and it seemed like it didn't take itself seriously enough. I gave it another watch and came to notice that there were plenty of significant, meaningful character moments and a good dose of serious drama. I was overwhelmed by the 'omg random' jokes the first time, but on several rewatches I came to really appreciate the tone and pacing of the story.

It's really a great movie. I'm glad I gave it another chance.
