a 2 week peak is very optimistic

If you check back to Wuhan, they kept delaying and delaying their claims when their peak would be, even after the strict shutdowns.

Afaik it takes like 1 week for the symptoms to become serious and there's also a 2 week incubation time. So that means there is a 3+ week delay during which people walk around spreading the virus exponentially. And the peak cannot be reached until something significantly stopped the virus from spreading 3+ weeks earlier.

What could have stopped it a month ago?
Herd immunity? Not enough people cured to build a "wall" to protect the others.
Quarantines, isolation, lockdowns, shelter/stay at home order? No, there are still way too many people walking freely and the infected recording videos of themselves in stores.
Vaccines or cures? No, neither exists. There are a few experimental drugs being tested that are said to shorten its symptom duration, but that's all.

There won't be any peak this month unless Trump takes nationwide extreme measures to stop people from spreading it and enforces them.

"Invalid" would be evidence that is bad or useless even if more evidence comes along to support the case.

The thing is...it can't be used as evidence coz nothing about it at all belongs to VirtualNES.

Imagine a researcher looking at a photo of a newly discovered animal which is classified as a bird, and then using the wings as evidence that it can fly. Yes, birds have wings, but just having wings doesn't mean it can fly.

Very, very many tools have "Help" as the last option and resizing the screen moves it lower.

Just because it's not conclusive evidence on its own it doesn't mean that it's somehow "invalid"

I'll even go as far as to call it invalid. Even Firefox has "Help" as the final option in its menu.
The fonts don't match.
Resizing the window would move the "help" text away.

The only thing it proves is the game was loaded in some kind of software with a menu bar, but we can't prove which.

Except I shit on Nintendo all the time, GBA and Gamecube were the last Nintendo console/handheld I geniunely liked because they fucked up or killed the majority of games / series I loved in the DS generation and Wii is mostly a garbage gimmick console with almost no good games. Hell the reason you see Phoenix Wright in my sig is coz I picked Vita over 3DS.

You guys don't understand that evidence needs to be irrefutable to matter. Coincidences happen with generic menus like these.

immediately spray something that kills viruses like 60%+ alcohol on it and wipe it off, take your stuff out, trash the box and desinfect your stuff thoroughly.

Now you can quarantine the contents of the box. Finish off by thoroughly washing your hands with soap for over 20 seconds.

People wanted to fuck Zelda even during A Link To The Past.

Just shut the hell up with your nonsensical whining, there's absolutely nothing wrong with Skyward Sword actually trying to make Zelda lovable and a character of her own instead of just being the hero's motivation with almost no personality.

Skyward Sword did so many things wrong, but Zelda is absolutely not one of the mistakes.

Eh, reading the UNMC article, it's droplets like flu, not airborne.

Dr. Rupp said that there was widespread contamination within the patient care environment and evidence of the genetic material from the virus could be recovered in some air samples, confirming the importance of disinfecting the patient-care environment, further adding that COVID-19 transmission seems to be much like influenza and not like airborne diseases such as chicken pox or measles. He added that influenza virus can also sometimes be found in the air in patient rooms particularly associated with aerosol generating procedures -- such as intubation or bronchoscopy

During the early days of spread, my company used the dumbass excuse that hundreds of thousands die from the flu each year, which I laughed at (comparing YEARLY statistics of a well known illness that can be vaccinated against and is easily treatable to something unknown that is many times more infective and deadly).

Today? I'm working 4h instead of 8h each weekday, at the same pay, doing work-from-home shifts so that each room only has 1-2 people at a time.

lol at how many people here don't understand what airborne means.

What we knew day 1: the virus spreads through droplets in the air, like flu (droplet spread, not airborne spread!). It would spread like 1-2 meters in front of you coz droplets will fall to the ground.

What being airborne implies: it's small and persistent enough for a sneeze to quickly spread it through the length of a whole bus.

Symptoms make the person more infective, but covid spreads completely without symptoms during incubation

Is there a reason the deaths vs recoveries are that high other than the virus just being that deadly?

AFAIK recovery takes like 2-6 weeks depending on how bad your case is. (though I hear some fight it off in like 4 days and may face more severe symptoms later? China uses flu pills to halve symptom duration and reduce lung damage)

Dying can happen anytime? Like, your covid case may get discovered coz you died, but you also may not die until 1-2 weeks later when symptoms become serious.

long story short, it takes much longer to completely fight off your illness until you have 0 traces of covid in body.

Severe punishment for all who violate it.
Keeping all borders closed until covid disappears from earth.
Make going to work with a flu a crime and support the ill.

That's pretty much the only way to stop it at this point. Not realistic, but it's Trump's fault this became necessary.

Stop whining if you don't understand what's happening.

You need the right masks and you need to know how to put them on and keep your hands off your head so that the virus can't get past them.

Gotta understand that most of mankind is dumb as fuck (irrefutable evidence: Trump is president). Basically these dumbfucks who can't even use the masks right are buying out all N95s in masses, using them when they're unnecessary, and leaving absolutely nothing for people who need them very urgently.

Obviously, the governments aren't innocent either, they should've been mass producing masks, antiviral supplies and ICUs since January or February.
