Not once did you have to do it after that. that was the ONLY place you had to do it...why would they think people would just figure that out? Its for the Fans. the NBA is a players league more so than a team league. People come to see players mostly. Games where big stars like LeBron or Giannis are the away players tend to sell more tickets.
