yes. Judging from the article they didnt even give her antibiotics or any sort of real treatment, let alone do the proper tests. For someone to have bilateral pneumonia and go untreated after going to the hospital 4 times is pure negligence.

they probably wouldve taken it more seriously if it was a positive result, but they missed a whole bunch of tests if she had bilateral pneumonia that wasnt noticed or treated (physical exam, chest X-rays, blood count and metabolic panel).

I loved it at first (the first couple hours) but I can't into it. The story didn't need to be changed at all, it should have been one game (should be out of fucking Midgar in just a few hours), and the battle system sucks, it's just fast paced chaos.

this 100%. stretching Midgar to 40 hours was a dumbass decision (and also false advertising because the game doesnt have Part 1 in the title). I literally couldnt finish the game I was so bored.

Hes spot on about pretty much everything. FF7R is a bloated, boring game that bungles the storytelling of the portion its remaking. Way too much filler and the ending is absurd. Also Sephiroth is shoehorned in way too much.

On the back of the case it says this is a part of a saga and in this particular game goes up to the escape of Midgar

yeah but its in small font all the way at the bottom. and you can interpret saga as sequels and not part 2 of the original game, people who havent played the original dont know what Midgar is. A Part 1 on the cover would be the clearest, least shady thing to do.

I can confirm that it was indeed my point.

But yeah, I've seen a few people did that "no spoilers" thing and expected the full game...to massive disappointment.

I've been skeptical of "just Midgar" from the start and thought it sounded like a bad idea, but at the same time, the demo kind of softened my opinion a little.

the no spoilers people were misled by the fact that Square didnt put a Part 1 in the title, which is really shady.

I guess the point he was trying to make is that since you know it's only the first part of the game, either the game is going to be extremely short, or there's going to be a lot of extra stuff that wasn't there in the original.

the game feels like it took its time developing the characters and their personalities, but i can see if someone is sued to the original's pacing, that this might just seem like filler and you want to get to the point.

i wouldnt have minded a short game if they absolutely had to only do Midgar, maybe a few extra scenes but expanding it to a 40 hour game is ridiculous. if they shortened it maybe they couldve expanded beyond just Midgar. i really just want to see moments from the original redone with modern production values, i dont really care for however Square wants to redo an already decent story. they should just make a new FF if they want to tell a new story.

I literally just posted an article citing that a majority of hospitals around the country are laying off staff due to lack of work. Christ almighty.

theyre laying off staff in non-emergency departments, not emergency staff that would be handling covid cases. and if you ease lockdowns theyre going to hit capacity, especially in rural areas with less beds.

also youre misinformed about the mortality rate. Even South Korea, who had as good of a response as you can expect, had a mortality rate over 2%, which is 20 times higher than the flu.
