Something so our language can distinguish people based on biological sex, keeping in mind that doing so is never meant as pejorative in any direction. It's practical to be able to talk about biological sex.

I've always found this a weird argument. Do you not think people can disagree with the idea of something without it financially benefitting them or something?

I fall into that category (I make six figures but still think people in my bracket and higher should pay more towards social welfare programs), but the difference is that those people are actively harming themselves. If taxes dont go up for me, I lose nothing. If the system doesnt change for them, it puts them at a greater disadvantage.
