Mario Maker TAS was announced as a bonus game. I don't recall if they said Mario Maker 1 or 2.

SMM2 showcase including a tool assist demo or something like that. They made very sure not to say TAS or speedrun in that, but including seemed to be a keyword there.

My understanding is that the crowd control aspect is going to be restricted to people physically present at the event, and chat won't be allowed to run wild with it. We'll see how much that helps.

Not to say you're incorrect, but I'm not entirely sure how they could do that. The only other live event I know of where they've done something similar was GPB's Speedrun Sessions, and that was passing around a tablet with Jaku's account so they could "redeem" amounts according to how much they spent on food and drinks, but a barcade is a much more manageable crowd for something like that.

(And they still of course had people at home contributing.)
