Bills I think were around $3400-$3600. Our insurance covered a total of $3200 across the two claims

Hierarchy of needs.



We are wired to worry about those needs from the bottom up. When one level is taken care of, we go one higher. Not being able to to satisfy the high level needs is more psychologically damaging because with lower level needs, the way to meet them is clear so we have a clear purpose. But the high level needs are much more murky. In fact we may not even realize they exist. So we have no idea how to meet our needs, or what to do. It's hard to even imagine ourselves meeting those needs sometimes. If you're hungry, you know that if you get food you will feel better. But if you're feeling down because you never felt like you deserve the love you've gotten, and the job you have devoted decades of your life to has come to feel empty and unsatisfying, it's much harder to visualize a path to getting better. It may seem impossible.

Where and how did you two first meet?

Oh, it's actually a funny story. I moved to QLD in April 2013, I was a big Tumblr user at the time. I searched "brisbane" on Tumblr to look for hot girls, found her, and messaged her. We talked for a few weeks, then arranged to meet in the city.

The kicker is that I was going to bail. I was literally about to get on the bus, the next person in line, when she messaged me "are we still on?" because I hadn't messaged her that day. I literally had my foot in the air to get on, and turned around and messaged her "yep I'll see you in an hour".

If I had got on the bus and bailed, she said she never would've spoken to me again. If she had messaged me 30 seconds later, we would've never met.

I've often wondered if other countries have the types of commercials America has. Do they have commercials outside the US for military recruitment that make serving look like a video game?

Well given the country had like 130 active cases a few months ago they want to stop it spreading. Australia can eradicate this thing (the rest of the country other than VIC basically has, all the new cases outside of VIC are generally returned travellers)
