She spotted the man and his car (which was the same model and similar color, according to police) in a parking lot and started yelling that it was stolen so a bunch of people took her at her word and tried helping her stop the car. However, there are also high cases of people going to the beach and not taking safety precautions like masks or social distancing also didn't help either. And this is coming from a guy who agrees with what the protests and BLM were fighting for, but just because I agree with them doesn't mean we should take the Covid19 seriously as well. I gave Wisconsin shit when they tried to do voter suppression by having people either risk their health/lives to practice their right to vote or not have a voice in it. I do read that Japanese game companies have done a shit job at porting games to the PC though, so I'll assume MK11 probably functions well while Tekken 7 not so great. --- DI MOLTO! |

Strong disagree on octopath, thats the most generic jrpg ive played this decade other than maybe some of the tales games Eh, I think it does enough stuff to make it fun particularly the battle system where every fight plays like a puzzle trying to find a way to break shields and using your BP to either help break shields faster or do more damage. It does enough to make fights more varied and interesting, along with great voice acting, beautiful looking 2D mix 3D graphics, excellent OST, and side quests done right. The only 2 big things that almost made me drop the game was the segmented story (and how formulaic it gets) and the fact that you have 8 unique party characters that rarely interact with each other... other than those awkward moments where you have to press + in a middle of a characters story that are missable. I would honestly call it far from generic, but that's just me. --- DI MOLTO! |

Someone on this board best described it as the FIFA of RPG's. But if you like old school JRPG's, it should fit your fancy, just not a game I can recommend. Persona 5 and Octopath Traveler are both far superior JRPG's (not to say they don't have their faults either, but both do different things to make the game... well not generic or boring). I'm planning on trying out Trials of Mana though, that looks interesting. --- DI MOLTO! |

As I stated before, if God truly is Omnipotent, he should be able to know what kind of evidence would suffice for us to believe in him. Yes there is a possibility that there will still be non-believers (because there are those who ardently believe there is no God), but there are still many ex-Christians like me that are still open to the idea of a God, but the reason we reject the claim because there is no proof. You can't provide a claim that can't be falsified. FortuneCookie posted... In the case of the virus, some people choose to believe it's lab created or that it's a hoax. That's the version of the truth which is in line with what they want to believe. They want enemies they can identify be it Big Evil Government or Evil Foreign People. The latter is particularly ugly because those people want an excuse to view others with hostility. I get what the TC was going for and you're right in that there is some similarities, but I still consider it an apples to oranges comparison because the Virus doesn't give a shit if you believe in it or not, and doesn't asked to be praised and worshipped like the Abrahamic God. We now simply say to dress professionally enough without being intimidating. For guys it's either a dress shirt or polo shirt with slacks (west side anyways, I think it's more professional oriented on the east coast). For woman... I'm honestly not sure. Most woman in our firm dress pretty conservatively so we never had that problem. But yeah it sounds like this lady has a bad history that would've been fired from our firm almost immediately, we don't deal with people who have aggressive unlikable attitude like she does. --- DI MOLTO! |

In my opinion, it really should be down to income level more than race. I've had asian friends who have been white washed that don't face a single problem that normally other south easy asian americans (first generation parents from a different country) would face because they come from a rich upbringing. --- DI MOLTO! |
