The Mulford Act, introduced by Republican Don Mulford was co sponsored by three Democratic legislators, passed through the Dem controlled assembly with 2/3 majority, and passed through the also Dem controlled senate 29 to 7, finally to be signed into law by Richard Nixon.

So, if we're pointing fingers here, I'm going to point it at power hungry politicians.

Which is to say, all of them. Not a single one gives a single fuck about our rights, and only ham it up when voting season picks up.

I did two consecutive 60 to 120 mph pulls in my car after work just now, and with those, threw my entire average fuel economy from 18.5, to 16.6.

No, he was not brought to Burger King, he was in the police station and said he was hungry and hadn't eaten in days. If they denied him food, everything he says could be thrown out of court because he could have argued that he was under duress. So they radio'd a cop and asked him to grab some food. Roof wasn't in the car, they didn't go in the drive thru together, they just brought him food so he would talk and it would hold in court.

I feel this is going to be ignored.

Don't drink the gun control kool aid, they use those terms like they did in WA state to justify i1639, now calling sporting rifles "Semi-auto assault rifles."

This is all semantics however. Dude was drunk in public with several firearms.

Also congrats, you have a still photo that shows his legged being raised while stepping over the body, and no video evidence of it in motion.
You've taken a single still frame image and tried to frame it as a complete action.

Unless the cop was dabbing, which in itself should be it's own punishable crime, that deadss looks like a foot reeling back for a kick, or recoiling off him after a heavy kick.

Gonna lay down a super hot take here and say this was an example of good police resolving a bad situation, and should be encouraged and congratulated.

If details come out that the police involved here are ultra nationalist klansmen and they were all rubbing shoulders and having a grand ol time before bringing the dude into the station I'll retract this statement, but it seems like these are the cops we actually need right now.

Pretty much my views.

But I also hope that since all the bad and quiet cops that didn't out the bad ones are leaving, it'll let those that want better cops to apply and become those better cops.

I use two cloth masks for a work day, one for the first half of the shift, then swap over after lunch. Both then go into a plastic bag, and the next day I use two fresh ones again. After my work week is done, I hand wash all of them and low temp tumble dry, and if weather permits let them dry completely in direct sunlight.
