I took the console apart and it was an easy enough fix. One of the springs on the inside of the cover wasn't properly connected so I connected it and also cleaned the dust out. The button works nicely and disc door opens and closes with no issues now.
Thankfully it reads discs perfectly. Playing Xenosaga ep II now.
The console came with a cool looking see-through blue official controller.
It would've sucked if someone else had bought it and didn't wanna take apart the PS2

8.2/10 the main chorus and riffs were catchy and cool IMO.

Superlinkbro - 7/10, the song didn't have something to really hook me, but the chorus was pretty catchyu and the vocalist sounds pretty nice.

There is the animal crossing pocket (?) for mobile with all the usual gacha nonsense, i hope it stays there and not slip into consoles...

I'd be cautiously optimistic about it staying with phones.
The mobile Animal Crossing is free to play. It's not a full price retail game.
If you look at the Battlefront 2 controversy from awhile back, one of the big arguments is that it was targeting children. I don't think Nintendo would want something like that on their belt. But again, cautiously optimistic. You just never know.
