What are the chances the game actually has fun new mechincs and expands the game and isn't just the same AC game we've gotten over and over since the Original with a new coat of paint.

Yeah, some lady came to my house and asked me to fill out a survey, got paid 70$ in cash on the spot after doing it.

It made me think differently about all surveys.

I like this series, this is the first time they kinda had open ended levels and it works good, but I wish some of them were smaller, feels like I do too much running around sometimes.

I also hate how many weapons are DLC, they make the same guns DLC for each installment.

Just know you'll need to spend a good amount of time with a weapon before you know for sure, both me and my friends had trouble finding our favorite, some still haven't.

Infinite is almost completely differnt and plays out exactly like most other linear fps games. I would avoid it, its utter garbage.

Dark mode is absolutley not for newcomers, I played through the game 3 times and still had an immensely difficult time with Dark mode. Everything will one shot you, no exceptions unless you get the special armors only available in that mode which cost a fortune and only give you enough protection to be two-shot for the next 5 or so levels.

You shouldn't play Dark mode untill you're intimately familiar with the game and have a strategy. Even normal is likely gonna kick your ass for the first few hours.

What I don't get is why they never seem to make the final boss the devil. I mean, it's like... literally his thing. He's just standing there, already set up to be the perfect final boss, Prince of Lies, Former Leader of the Archangels, King of Hell, and everything else... and they decide to tackle God instead?

My reigning theory on this is that Japan probably doesn't see demons as being 'final boss' level material and has demons tap out basically at upper-mid/upper monster power. Powerful but not 'final boss' powerful. So instead you gotta throw some actual deity as the final boss. Even if it results in western audiences wondering why he doesn't just Thanos-snap the party out of existence.

Lucifer/Satan is almost always the final boss if you choose Law/Neutral in SMT games, in Nocturne he was the final boss of the intended ending.

Anime tropes are terrible in general with this problem, where if you see how a character looks and know little about them you may know exactly how they will react to every situation; cookie cutter cardboard stereotypes with copy/paste "depth."

I love JRPGs, but they really need to try to break from expected clichs and character templates.

My pet peeve has always been that Strange Journey was more deserving of the title of SMT IV than actual SMT IV was, and every ending for IV was a long ride on a short bus.

I actually haven't played Strange Journey so maybe.
DDS was an unfinished mess but it still has mt favorite progression system.
I didn't like the Raidou games, too simple with bad controls.

Yeah there are alot of issues, I still love the games though even with the stupid endings Persona and SMT games are some of my favorite of all time.

It's not that killing God bothers me, its that every Persona ending from 3 on plays out the exact same, defeat real world villain, discover theres an evil God masterminding everything for no reason and then use the power of friendship to defeat it. You can swap out the endings of 4-5 and literally nothing changes.

Like goddanm does the Persona team have any writing originality?

It actually looks pretty good, too bad SE doesn't seem to want my money what with no PC or Xbox release.

I just hope all of the controversy causes people to actually use their heads and stop buying shit from garbage companies like Blizzard instead of forgiving and forgetting when they release a decent game.

But that won't happen.

I like Todd, but after season 1 he hasn't fit into the show at all, and honestly brings it down. Just doesn't have anything interesting to do that ties into the other characters' plotlines.

I just hate how stupid he is, it's like he exists only to say stupid shit, drag out an episode, create drama because he's an idiot or all of the above.

I just wanna say something I've been wanting to say since the first episode and has zero relevance to any particular season.

Todd sucks and is by far the worst, most uninteresting character in the entire show.

With characters like Rouge and Krystal, they obviously have female parts that men find appealing and are adults so it.. kinda makes sense.

It's not like they're always drawn the same way by different artists, most of the R34 of Isabelle has boobs, butt and looks more like other anthros. There's also using your imagination I guess.

I doubt most people popped one when she appeared on screen in the games. I feel like they just got curious to see if there's porn of these characters and it developed from there.

That's pretty much every MMO, I know a couple guys that only ever play females when given the choice, it's pretty creepy.

I don't trust female directors/writers to write a good story about men and vice versa.

Espicially when women are more likely to put virtue signaling and other sjws shit in for no reason. Although you can say that about any Hollywood director.

Washing dishes isn't that bad, unless you're one of those gross people who leaves them out overnight so everything sticks to it.

Never played the first(waiting on the remaster) and am in a jrpg kick, I already know they're not connected.

What's good/bad about it? Is the dlc worth it? Etc.

It's a unique and genuinely interesting game so sure.

My biggest issues is that it's extremely preachy and you have to ignore 1/3rd of the games mechanics to get the happy ending.

And yes the soundtrack is phenomenal.

What? The original RE soundtrack is fantastic for the most part, are you sure you're not thinking of the awful dualshock edition?

Levine made Infinite which was abysmal and not at all anything like Bioshock 1 or even 2 for that matter. So as long as they don't copy Infinite it could be fine.

Sci Fi can be good but it's hard to nail.

Fantasy is great most of the time due to the creativity it allows.

I don't care one bit for superheroes unless it's Batman.

I don't get why so many people are hung up on who the DLC characters are, rather than how they play. The vast majority of Smash players probably don't main their favorite character.

Part of Smashs appeal has always been iconic Nintendo characters beating the hell out of each other, now that it's extended to characters in all of gaming people want to see as many characters as possible from a variety of games series. It's not hard to see why people are upset that FE is getting an 8th character in lieu of someone like Dante.

I'm disappointed but at least we still have RE3, and I still need to catch up on Switch games.

Oh no, Im enjoying Yusuke, Im just saying that he feels tacked on. When I say hes extraneous, I dont mean hes annoyingy, I mean that he feels like an extra in scenes. Like the story was made for Protagonist-Morgana-Ryuji-Ann, and Yusuke was bumped up from a character starring in only one arc, to a main character. Except they didnt think to really give him an arc to follow or a reason to stay other than Im Phantom Thieves now.

and dont get me wrong, the others kinda suffer from this too. But it feels worse with Yusuke.

The more I think about it, the more I appreciate P3 for keeping its cast relevant after their designated arc.

Yes! Exactly, keeping character developement confined in the optional social links seriously damages the overall cast, it would be like having to watch all the filler of a shonen to fully understand the characters.

P3 is still my favorite because of the characters having real development.

I've been wanting that to happen since I was a boy, so hopefully. Would rather play as Link or Fox rather than Toad

I don't think I've been anxious for a game release in several years, the exception being Persona 5. Too many uninspired, lazy big budget games I think.

I noticed on my phone the mini player when you minimize the video doesn't play for kids videos... but none of the videos I watch can even be remotely construed as "for kids" though.

Otherwise I haven't noticed anything other th han the comment section moving.

Most of the bosses in Persona Q, poison was ultra busted in that game for some reason.

Sniper Elite has realistic bullet damage so any vital organ shot instant kills.

I think infinite undiscovery has that. Obscure pick I know.
