At what point are the containment efforts more detrimental than the virus itself? Lack of food and toiletries, disruption of education and employment, financial disruptions, etc. Seems to me that as a society we need to carry on and not worsen things. Worst case scenario, everyone continues their daily routines and gets sick, in which case theyd be missing school/work anyway but the rest of society wouldnt be hindered. No mass panicking for food and supplies, no missed schooling and work, etc.

It's in principle possible for isolation to stop it; South Korea has gotten growth down to being linear and could be more aggressive. It requires that people comply with distancing even as things appear to be getting better, though.

Linear is good, but anything outside of shooting people in the streets, worldwide, won't stop this before a vaccine...

My health insurance provider (Cigna) just said all COVID 19-related healthcare will be 100% covered. I'm sure other large insurers will follow. If that does happen, then advantage US in that scenario.

Arguably the only thing bad about universal healthcare is the waitlists.

Why are they charging for tests when getting tested is ultimately for the greater good if society and not a personal benefit.

I'm sure it's been asked, but isolation won't stop this, but it's necessary to prolong the spread as long as possible until we have vaccine!

How much would this be worth? I had a 1st edition base set Charizard that suspiciously went missing (along with a few others) from my parents house after a cousin asked to look at my old cards. Granted it was a few years ago and I'm not in the country but they told me nobody else had touched those cards since I stored them away at their house 15 years ago. So it's pretty easy to draw conclusions

I thought they were the rarest type of card until I did 1 minute of research lol. My goal is to complete the set but with all the different types of rares and reverse hollows its gonna take a while.
My first rare was just Snorlax in his base form, not V and deff not VMAX. but hes my favorite Pokemon so I took it as a sign lol. Props on pulling that insanely rare Marnie!

Thanks! I'm still wanting gold Zama/Zacian more than anything, but this Marnie might be more coveted! If you're going to actively collect, maybe we can trade any doubles or rares we get!

I have literally thousands of cards, but most or from Gen 3 onwards. I'm guessing common/uncommon are worthless?

I *just* got back into collecting Pokemon cards with the release of the Sword and Shield set at the start of this month. I'm falling into the rabbit hole already though.

Yes, me too! The cards are so nice...it's hard once you get one rare card. Got Keldeo V on my first pack and was hooked. The V cards are beautiful.

Well I can't guarantee all the Vivillon are legit, but I traded for all.

For base cards, they don't sell that well unless they're graded, from what I see.
