It's literally the question necessary to clear this up. If the answer is no, then the conversation is done, and I misinterpreted. If the answer is yes, then you are seriously confused about what "talking policy" means.

Sanders needs to be able to convert a good chunk of Warren supporters to win. Talking policy is a good way of doing it.

Is "this candidate only appeals to [chunk of society that I know can get people riled up]" talking policy?

It was like $7 when I worked there and the amount of caffeine was no different than a regular cold brew. It just had nitrous added by a machine and hiked up the price $3.

It's not about the caffeine content. The infused nitrogen makes it taste at least twice as smooth and delicious as their normal cold brew. The price has also gone down significantly from when they first introduced it.

they were too poor to go to school

There a whole lot of barriers to the poor in higher education, but simply being unable to go isn't really one of them. There are circumstances, like being a single mother of a small child with no family support that would make it infeasible. And the poor certainly need to work harder than your average middle class student. But the point still stands, higher education is certainly accessible (personally, I know).

But the bigger issue with your post is that it frames the labor market as the fault of higher education. The majority of jobs which are advertised with an undergraduate degree requirement have no reason to have that requirement, except for the fact that they can. That is the fault of the employer, not the university system. The purpose of college is not job training, and framing it in that starkly practical light is an issue.

Oh, and I'm not addressing the racist bit at the top, because it's not worth anyone's time.

What do you mean? I know a lot of people who went cc->uni->prestigious grad school. Can you elaborate? Are you talking about GPA being lower?

I'm talking about getting research experience. It takes a minimum of a year in a lab before you're really doing anything serious as an undergrad, and the opportunity to jump from lab to lab is really important.

If you are coming in two years in, you are really only getting 1 year of experience in if you're lucky before you have to start applying.

If you plan on attending any form of grad school there's a giant opportunity cost that often is impossible to make up for students who take the cc->transfer to uni route

gotta give joe credit though, at least in season 2 he tried not to revert to his old ways but the chick literally forced herself on him. Everything he did too was basically for ellie

That's not really true, as shown by the end of the first episode (maybe the beginning of the 2nd?). He definitely kept that narrative for himself though.

Like it seems really odd that there are enough mega rich people to have a whole cabal of pedos. I would think it would be like 1/100,000 rich people, but apparently it's like 1/50?

Or, perhaps, just perhaps, this whole rich pedophilia ring conspiracy nonsense, is largely nonsense, often peddled for political gain.

Once you remove SES and education from IQ, you remove all of its predictive validity.

Not surprising, as it was initially developed to measure "general success in school".
