It's the fact that people do face termination that I have a problem with. Doesn't matter if it's me, you, or a rich celebrity. Look, racial slurs are a problem. But we go about solving them in the stupidest way. We basically vilify the shit out of people who use them. We basically ignore very basic principles of language that add significant context to their usage. In the process, we make both the person who used the word and the people who vilify them look bad. The best way to solve the problem is to fight with internal resistance, not external resistance. It takes some dedication and effort to break habits, and even more effort to push it in the other direction, but it can be done. Words can be endured by people if they are willing to put in the effort to endure them. Once this is done, there is no negative power associated with those words. So why not work toward solving the problem in this way, as it is so much less costly? It's a basic cost-benefit analysis. I'm just trying to help solve the problem. We both understand that it's a problem, and that it should be solved. Our hearts and minds are in the right place. Let's work together. My ideas come from genuine compassion for all humans and from my life experience. I'm sure yours do, too. |

After that it seems like it's been condensed to similar singing styles and strum patterns. But I'm sure there's lots of newer country stuff out there that I haven't heard. I dunno..I'm just not feeling the creativity from the genre anymore. |

These laws were designed with the fact that not everybody is going to comply 100%. If 100% complicity is needed, then they'd be much more strict. That's why I don't have a problem with people who feel like they need social contact sooo bad that they break the rules. We are still bearing this thing despite them. At least in most States. |
