Ooooooranges 03/23/20 11:30:56 AM #47 | EvalAngell posted... even using US total confirmed cases and *assuming* that the average person will infect 3 others, only 0.00004% of the US population has coronavirus. The math does not support the hysteria surrounding this virus. The reason for the hysteria is what you see in Italy. The medical system is not designed to support the surge in hospitalizations. People who would normally be treated and discharged will die because they won't have beds or ventilators available for them. 'Social distancing' is needed to decrease the rate of hospitalizations so we can prevent as many unnecessary deaths as possible. --- |

Ooooooranges 03/07/20 11:39:38 PM #23 | Smashingpmkns posted... It's literally a test they do, along with others, to test for multiple forms of dementia. I'm a geriatrician and I test regularly for dementia. It's 3 points on a 30 point scale in one test. So the clock itself is not a test, no. It's a small part of the overall test (called the Montreal Cognitive Assessment). As well, they do not test for 'multiple forms of dementia.' It just tests for cognitive impairment, of which dementia could be the cause. Stop spreading misinformation just because you read about it once. --- |

Ooooooranges 03/07/20 11:32:10 PM #17 | Smashingpmkns posted... Drawing a clock is something they do to test for dementia. Something Biden's doctor hasn't done apparently This is just kinda bad information. A misdrawn clock doesn't mean you have dementia, and drawing a normal one doesn't mean you don't have it. --- |
