I'm conflicted. I mean, he's very clearly doing the whole "I'm gonna keep fighting for The Cause until my body literally gives out from under me" mindset, and you've got to respect that, you know? But there are two problems. One is that he is Bernie Sanders, not Richard III: despite continuity mechanisms like lines of succession, modern states still cannot afford to have their heads just doing things like that. This would be true of any candidate.

But there's another problem that's currently kind of unique to him: burning himself out like the last episode of a fighting anime fuels the hell out of the toxics in his base. Fortunately he's finally starting to take some steps to get them under control, and as long as he keeps following through on that, it should help some, but there are limits.

Strange case. Leo had darker skin tones in Amano's character illustrations (I think his portrait did too), but not in the sprites. Not really sure why they did that.

Edge from FF4 had quite dark skin too, as I recall.

Looking at the pictures, Im going to assume that he was upstairs and she was downstairs trying to come up. It seems like he was firing shots into the stair wall to keep her where she was at and stop her from coming upstairs. Which isnt totally unreasonable since she was first asking for help.

So he didn't even have anything definite to shoot at (intentionally missing or no)? That's worse.

It would be interesting to see a timeline of events. I wonder if it was a semi-automatic pistol? If the wife had immediately called 911, the police had immediately showed up, and the guy hadnt blown through all his ammo then it might not have been the worst plan.

There are worse plans, but not many. This was awful.

Of course it isn't: the alternative is do not fire. If you're comfortable missing on purpose, your finger shouldn't even be on the trigger. That's not machismo, that's basic gun safety.

It really is important to gather every possible perspective on these issues, to be certain that you have the most complete possible picture before passing judgment. You really do have to be able to say you've listened to everyone.

But I've got to be honest, I doubt it would chance the outcone very much. This could very well have been a mutually-abusive scenario between the spouses -that happens sometimes- but the fact remains that one party escalated to deadly force and the other did not (and, indeed, retreated entirely rather than allow the violence to continue). I also find it extemely difficult to imagine any scenario where the children might have brought even the remotest semblance of any of this on themselves, yet they burned all the same.

So, um, yeah. F*** this guy. Get whatever information is needed to determine appropriate charges, and then nail him to the wall.

Hmm. Hadn't really been following this, and I'm not sure what I think of it. I'm fond of the Birds of Prey team, and of "The Fantabulous Emancipation of One Harley Quinn", as this movie seems to be referring to that particular part of Quinn's character arc (and I do like that name for it). However, I am not so fond of removing Oracle from the Birds of Prey, nor of removing Poison Ivy from TFEOOHQ. I think I'm going to wait and see what more people have to say about this. Definitely going to ignore the review bombs, though.

"Not worth the price" is the same trolling for this game that it always is wherever it appears. Never believe it, ever.

It's good. The last few fights in Re:MIND are an absolute hoot for longtime fans, and then the data fights are a punishing gauntlet in their own right. It would have been nice if the guest fighters were usable outside their assigned battles, though. Or if they were balanced for difficulty modes other than Proud (seriously; they're borderline-unplayable on Critical). The secret boss has tricks up his sleeve that will, in fact, make you cry. No, seriously; some of these have to be seen to be believed.
