If you look at the splits part of his stream, he has done 3544 attempts at this category

The run is like 5 minutes but it is gruelling with a high reset rate given how perfect execution needs to be

Take for example the wrong warp in 4-2. The pipe he goes down to get to the warp zone is not tied to that pipe iirc. He has to be on the right pixels to trigger that, and make sure the screen scrolling is right

It is like watching a real life TAS run.

This shit is so optimized at this point that Im surprised we still see World Records as often as we do.

Frame rules (basically described in laymans terms as - a bus leaves the level every 21 frames, and if you miss a bus you have to catch the next one) limit how fast levels can be beaten too. Its also why you see him doing the flagpole glitch (clipping through the bottom of the flagpole to end the level early) in some levels and not in others (though some are insanely difficult to setup and have never been gotten in an actual run before).

Warp zone exits (1-2 and 4-2) and 8-4 (since it is the final level) arent affected by frame rules. Its why you will see him tie every other split, and then get ahead on the last one.

Left 4 Dead 2 was a really fun game, but Left 4 Dead 1 was kinda average. Adding in weapons, doing cooler levels, etc. was definitely a good move on their part.

But why did they stop making games?

L4D2 added a lot of cool stuff, but the survivor weapons they added were strong enough that the infected are at a disadvantage when playing VS. Id like to see them try to make the game fun for both sides. Oh, and add skill-based matchmaking because the game is impossible to get a good lobby with, unless I organized games entirely with CE. And RIP to that group.

Both Marshadow and Zeraora would have been ready to be chosen by the time Sakurai was deciding characters for Ultimate. Much like Greninja, he would have just been given a bunch of planning documents and had to pick from that. He just picked wrong this time.

Why do you think he has a choice here? TPC picks which starter they're going to hype up the most, then they give that to Sakurai for Smash.

Or they couldve just not represented that game, and actually held true to Sakurais supposed intent to include as many different worlds into Smash as possible. Its amazing how he said that in the Terry direct, and then the character right after him is Fire Emblem character #8.

All Im saying is Im not going to pass judgement on whether Byleth is a bad idea... I certainly have already decided that it wasnt a good choice.
