This plan would require a town that's barely trying to do two things. Be at least minimally active, and to trust my judgment.

Its become increasingly clear to me that scum is running this day. They are aiming for the quick, easy mislynch, and coming in out of nowhere to protect Han. I didn't want to have to do this today, but I don't believe I have a choice.

I will say i dont see what makes Han town myself.

What I find concerning is IGCD suddenly saying how certain he is Han is town when he's never done a single thing to suggest this before today, at least not that I remember.

I'm losing faith in the Lea lynch. There has been way too much pressure from a consistent bloc of players to lynch her as fast as possible. That entire bloc is now shading me for wanting to lynch Han as fast as possible while saying wanting the day to be quick makes me scummy. When have IGCD and SBell been such Han defenders?

I do find it super curious how Han seems to have gone from on almost everyone's scum list to being hailed as a hero of town.

I never thought I'd say this in a game but Corrik getting himself modkilled was a death blow for town.

It's nearly impossible to hold the tournament at all because it is impossible to know who qualified. There were a dozen teams still playing meaningful games that meant they were either in or out.

Unless you give all of the "bubble teams" some sort of hokey play in tournament, how can you properly set up a tournament?

The players would also still have to be there. By May/June the seniors may have graduated.

And this is why this day has no business still being up. Most of us are already waiting for it to be over. The longer this day goes, the even less town cares. Dragging it out only benefits scum. Han trying to act like it benefits town to drag this out is truly a shocking thing, of course.

But anyway, let me give a little tidbit on me psychologically.

If I ever come out of a day like day 2 was in this game either with confidence or acting like everything's fine, you should lynch me immediately. It would be an act I don't see myself ever putting up as town.

All these events shutting down across the country, and here I am at work coming into some measure of contact with another couple of thousand people on a daily basis. It's a half measure. If you're going to start shutting major things down, you need to shut down all the nonessentials, not just some.

People are still going out. People are still shopping. Our attendance for the week has been above average (despite it being a poor time of year for retail) and I suspect it will continue to rise as people have less to do. The overwhelming majority of the public do not fear this virus and will not change their lives based on it unless you make them.

I suspect we're going to have our busiest weekend since December coming up. People who want to go out will still go out. Where I work does not contain food nor does it contain medicine. People are still coming in droves.

Put it this way, this game has frustrated the cattiness right out of me and the more I post the more volatile I know I'm going to get anyway. This is just the 49th post of a day that's been up for almost 13 hours. The game is just spinning it's wheels.

I think it's the most mature decision we can make to just let some days process quickly, and I think it's what's obviously best for the game.

Frankly I do not believe the game should even still be running. If it must continue, let's skip the 48 hours of almost total inactivity this day will be and just do the lynch. It's also the safer play: It could be so inactive at the end of the day that scum has full control of the lynch anyway.

If I had to guess: We need to, at a minimum, lynch two scum to get any life back into the town.

I'm not sure how it's being defeatist just to want to get that part done quickly. It's being a realist.

And let's be frank. It doesn't matter what people claim now. It doesn't matter if people are uncountered or not now. Occam's razor says Red was town. We're missing the roles of 1/4 of the town. Scum effectively got a triple janitor on top of the two free mislynches.

Jesus Christ, two stupid modkills with no roles AND an outright no-flip? I'm gonna try real hard to keep caring about this game, but egad.

(Should specify the act of modkilling itself was not stupid, but understandable on the part of our hosts, but that doesn't mean I'm not still PISSED at Ben about it; I literally felt sick to my stomach when I read that bit last night.)

How do you figure that MZero is confirmed town, Han? His claim still feels... dubious at best, especially considering the way he went about it, and I still don't trust you, but I'm willing to hear you out for the sake of argument before I put down any votes over it.

I spent the entire night phase wanting the game to be ended and a new game to be started in it's place. The problem is twofold. Town needs to be perfect and town isn't going to put in the effort to be perfect unless it gets lucky.

I'll rather just play the easier scum lynches first to at least get SOME good feeling back.

Ben got himself and inadvertently Corrik modkilled to protect a scum in what will easily go down as the worst play I've ever seen. Especially after I already tiptoed around a modkill day 1.

By the way, those two modkills means the game is over on a single mislynch instead of 3. We were 4/9. Now we're 4/6.

That's not what worried me.

What is problematic about that interaction is that, in all games I've played, any action taken on the person hidden behind affects both of them.

If the inventor can give out a gambler like claimed, then suddenly the possibility exists for three town shots. I know Lea said her role doesn't work that way...but that's how hider has always worked in every game I've been in unless Sultan is using some bizarre alternate version.

She only said that she wouldn't die if hiding behind someone who got shot immediately after the possibility was directly called out as the primary danger.
