The only problem with the manga is that Miura isn't going to be able to match his previous edge that made Berserk so unique since his life and perspective isn't as dark anymore.

However the fact that the recent manga is more JRPG than Berserk doesn't mean that everything up until team Guts gets on the boat isn't one of the best dark fantasy stories ever told.

Last time I went to the DMV it was 3 hours in line to take a number and then another 3 hours to have your number come up. Soul crushing experience. Appointments let you skip the first three hours, but they were booked up for several months.
