My problem with XIII-2 is that with some rubber bands (and maybe a turbo controller, I forget) you can max out your characters super early and its not fun when youre maxed out.

i loved xiii and xiii-3. 2 was good still

I mean I loved SLC, and that's where my friends and family are. But I kinda like this place of employment. If I go back I probably won't leave. But if I stay here for a while, I'll probably have more adventures and move to a few different work places and get to experience living in more parts of the country.

Im not really for M4A as I dont see how its feasible to switch from our system to that system. I definitely support UBI though and see not having it as a bigger problem than M4A. Basically give whatever poverty-level is to each person regardless of income. I realize Id probably end up with less money this way.

He suggested there should be an income cut-off on the cash payments and that high-income households might not be eligible.

I am curious what a guy like you would be investing in if he had the cash. So what would you be buying?

Depends in how much I had. Like if I had 1MM cash right now Id put it into VTSAX like 5% a week or something right now Until its all in. Maybe like 15% VBTLX. Its already well diversified. If I had a few million Id probably talk to a professional or have to do more research.

If I want to use leverage probably real estate (which is likely but I dont know about it so havent taken the leap). I might in the future but realize I dont know enough yet to make that a wise decision.

Kinda want to try my own business eventually but thats lower on the list than real estate but still in the realm of possibility.

I work at a supermarket and managed to buy multiple cases of hand sanitizer for a cheap and have been selling then for 5 a bottle, made near 1k in profit so far.

Id feel kinda bad about doing that. Being a middle man and taking advantage of arbitrage is usually my kind of thing, but not really for a pandemic.

I was more thinking memorabilia and investments.

They asked me if I was at risk for coronavirus.

I said no.

Im not sure what was said in this topic wrong about the spread. Once you go back out in public you have potentially caught the virus again and could be spreading. I also dont know why having a masters degree means you are obligated your free time learning about coronavirus. It doesnt really change what my job is other than I wash my hands more.

The two-week isolation period isn't to protect you, it's to allow symptoms to develop after a possible exposure. If you develop symptoms and subsequently test positive, you're infected and need to be quarantined further while being treated. If you don't, then you weren't infected and can (probably) safely return to society without infecting anyone. Once you return to society, subsequent exposures may indeed warrant another isolation period, yes.

Thanks adjl, but yeah it seems like once you return another isolation would be warranted unless the number of new cases really slows down.

I hear the number of cases in China has massively slowed down.

Yeah, but he's not worried about it. He's going to make a fortune by putting all of that sweet salary into index funds at the top of the market and then using his non-existent cash reserves to buy badly timed puts that are extremely expensive because everything is hitting the fan already. He's got it all figured out.

Im still indexing, and have overall lost money indexing since I just entered the market in 2018. And yes, index funds will make you a fortune on a long time scale. Exponential growth yo.

For puts part of my emergency fund could just be used and cut it back to 3-6 months. I dont keep a cash reserve other than my emergency fund which is split between a HYSA and my checking.

Even our physicians are offering opinions from give me a break its just a flu and youre not gonna catch it to this is a huge disaster Im not doing anything other than drive straight to work, straight home. No take out, only eat whats in the house.

I really dont know much about medicine other than radiation. It slows the spread, but people wont know that they arent spreading after they go back and touch things again.

Well the stock market is f***ed for the foreseeable future, if you have money to invest you should buy s*** that when this all blows over is obviously going to be fine. Disney, Tesla, any gas company, s*** like that.

I was thinking of buying puts. If LAX is really closing Tuesday then stocks definitely going down a lot then.

Okay, I understand in a MOBA what my objectives are but feel like I have no clue how to do it well.

At least my financial stuff is on separate passwords from each other.

idk man Id you cant figure out how its possible invest 80k+ On a 152k income you probably do need more personal finance in your life. Like a few weekends of personal finance learning nets a ton of money after 30 years of compounding.

we all have desks. Theyre just rotating who sits where. Its a hospital, not a typical business.

Probably depends on the field. I know some places wont give their physicists their own desks when we rotate between clinics.

Yeah 152k a year salary and I still want more money. I wasnt bragging I was sharing.

We have rotating shifts. Early, middle, late, float. We do mostly the same thing at different hours, slightly different responsibilities.

One guy got tired of phone calls for late going to middle once or twice a week.

phone calls are never more than 30 seconds and the other person is three feet away

other people dont want rotating desks and havent agreed but this guy is more combative so the boss says were doing it so she doesnt have to deal with him

i mean the phone call issue wont be solved because people dont know which rotation to call and have their favorite people they like to call, but whatevs issue not open to discussion

We now rotate desks every week.
