We are saying we do not trust at all the numbers they are reporting, with regards to infections and deaths. China censors its citizens from criticizing the government and otherwise casting the nation in a negative light, such as in art or movies that are critical of the culture. They also heavily monitor and influence their own news and internet. The US reported numbers, along with many other nations, are also most likely very low compared to the actual (i.e. real) numbers. But, personally, I see that as an issue of incompetence or lack of resources, such as not having an adequate number of much-needed test kits. --- ... |
