I don't understand why these beyond beef things aren't more mushroom-based. Mushrooms are one of the easiest foods in the world to grow (outside of morels) and are much more sustainable than most vegan foods.

My first company had 401k vesting. If you pulled out at year 2, you only got 40% of their 401k contribution. Had to stick around for 5 years. Account for that when considering net benefit.

Also prolific job hopping is a net loss; you want the company to think they're going to have you for more than 1-2 years. There's an ideal medium and it's more in the 3-5 year range.

Making the senate 102 members with 2 members that are overwhelmingly in the democratic party vs present day.

Democratic No is the "safe" choice only because Dem's don't have the majority in the first place, sorta how the yesterday's scotus ruling was 6-3. 5-4 passes just as well, but 6-3 looks better for the losing side.

It's an interesting legislative argument for both sides. Lack of statehood means lack of representation for all sorts of legislative decisions for their population. But then it's also baked into the constitution to establish a non-state location for the federal government.
