I've never seen a reasonable, non-racist opinion from someone who calls black people "blacks".

Just the opposite for me. Usually white people who go out of their way to use the term "african americans" are doing because they are uncomfortable around black people. Usually when that term is used its followed by some political correct bullshit meant to coverup an obvious racist opinion.

Because thats not true. Thats something some privilege white guy who grew up with all white friends would say.

If you grew up in the ghetto with blacks and latinos then you'd know that it is common to use racist slurs without the derogatory context associated with being a racist. Its just language at that point...

...as you get older. and more professional ya'll need to start checking yourselves. But as a kid growing into adolescents, and then young adulthood...its just conversation between comfortable individuals. Now, I'm not saying this particular instance qualifies, but to say something as bold and broad as what I quoted is just ignorant.

I mean, it was in poor taste for sure. But what would have been the context to saying it in a derogatory manner? Like, was there a black person who he was upset with? Sounds like maybe he just substituted it for the word "fuck" - in which case thats kind of racist. But sounds like he was laughing at it...so he thought it was funny, just like ever 12 year old on X-Box Live.

He's still going to get in heat for it, as he should. But, its hard to tell if he's a racist or not for it.

I find myself using the "A" ending version of the word when with large groups of friends. But when I use it, its usually in substitution for the word "fool" or "motherfucker" like: "This motherfucker done fucked up" or "This fool said what now?"

I'm trying to stop cuz I know if it comes out in a professional setting I'm toasted. The thing is, my large groups of friends are super diverse. Black, Latino, Indian, Asian, Persian, Gay...you name it, its probably in there. Being white I'm actually the minority in my group. But, all my close friends I hang out with are from the MMA community, I've known most since college. Its group behavior, that is acceptable. I think because we picked up alot of the dialect from hip-hop music, and the bad communities we grew up in.

But...man...those slip of tongues are killer. I've gotten way better over the last few years, but when I'm in that circle of friends...it still just flows out. Its tough to unlearn bad habits. I try to say watch the other slip of the tongues like "thats so gay" and the such...but also just stupid things like "thats hella cool" or " whats up yo"

You enter a professional world where people don't know you. For me, being white, and working in Silicon Valley most people assume I grew up privilege, failing to realize I grew up in a primarily mexican ghetto in south phoenix. My surrounding neighboorhood was 75% Mexican, 20% Black, and 5% white like myself. I grew up speaking fucking Spanish and going to my friend's quinceanera...but now working in Silicon Valley tech if I say anything that could potentially be taken as anti-liberal I'm accused of being a Trump Supporter.

As is life...gotta adapt. So far I've avoided any incidents, but boy, is it my worst nightmare.

@FrozenBananas I almost flew out to OKC and whooped Beta Male's ass. This clown started stalking me on Facebook, LinkedIn, everything...for no reason other than I was a MMA fighter who posted all my fights on the MMA board as they happened.

He got a kick out of talking shit and trolling somebody who could obviously kick his ass in real life. It was like a confident booster to him.

I ignored him for well over a year, not officially, just by not ever responding to him. But then he started trolling my personal accounts...but it goes both ways. He stalks me w/ his Facebook...so now I know his name.

Dude was a 110 pound 5'3 kid who dressed like a poor man's Eminem and bagged groceries. He actually worked that job for the entire 3+ years that he trolled me. He had no friends, and had a "friend zoned" online relationship with some emo looking girl from Florida..a chick he never met but was obviously in love with. This dude inherited a shitty house when his dad died, and that is how he managed to lived. He drove no car, had no assets of note, his money he got from bagging groceries was basically just used for essentials. He lived a sad life.

I eventually retired from fighting, I was almost 30, so I decided to concentrate on a lasting career...and got my first legit job working for a Videogame company. So as I'm starting this new chapter of my life, I still have this old peice of baggage hanging around in the form of TheBetaMale.

Now as an MMA Fighter, I didn't care if he trolled my social accounts...it's like whatever, it can't harm me. But now that I'm working an actual career...well that's a totally different ballgame.

So for the first time I had to address this, and I had to do it seriously. This man was now officially fucking with my livelihood. So, I began texting that fake girlfriend of his in Florida. Told her she was a random friend suggestion, but I liked the posts she made. That I'd be headed to Florida for a MMA fight soon and that maybe she could show me around. I got her totally on my dick.

I mentioned BetaMale as he was all over her post replies. He was so deep into the friend zone with this girl. But she told me all his deepest darkest secrets. Including where his father was burried, and the exact location of his work/house.

I used Google maps to print out the locations, and then screenshot the conversation I was having with his girl. I then found another dude on the GameFaqs MA board that was in Oklahoma and arranged payment for him to meet me at the Graveyard to videotape me kicking Beta's Ass. I screenshot that conversation and PayPal receipt. Finally, I purchased a ticket to OKC, and screenshot that as well.

I finally, for about the first time in 3+ years actually reached out to Beta through one of his social accounts and presented him with the following ultimatum: "Stop or Else"

Or else what? Well, I was going to fly out to OKC (flight left the next morning), meet with the other GameFaqer at his father's grave, where I would then set up a lawn chair, sit my ass down and begin a Livestream directly to the GameFaqs MA board. This stream would be me calling out The Beta Male for a fight.

With me I had a gym bag full of gear...boxing headgear, mouthpiece, & 3 ounce gloves for him, and 16 ounce gloves and shin pads for myself. This was designed to protect him, but not me. Afterall, he had been calling me out for a fight for the past three years.

He had two hours to respond. At which point I would piss on his father's grave, go straight to his house/work to call him a bitch on camera, and then I was flying to Florida to fuck "his girl."

I sent BetaMale all the evidence that this was going to happen. At which point he threatened to shoot me if I showed up. I said that was fine, that I accepted his terms. He then apologized, including going to the board and publically doing it in his own way...and then he never showed up again.

...and that is the story of TheBetaMale. So you can go ahead and take him off of block. He'll never show his face here again. In fact, I think he deactivated his account.

I think it's been proven that Isolation can stop the spread of this disease, and we must do so. However, the issue is that:

• if people can't go to work, then they don't get paid.
• if they don't get paid, then they can'y pay rent.
• if they can't pay rent, then they become homeless.
• if they become homeless, then they obviously can't stay home.

I've been the victim of office politics before.

At one point I was let go because the manager thought I was about to replace him...and he was right. So initially he told me that my position had been eliminated, and that was the reason I was being let go...even tho he had just given me a 10k raise a month earlier. I later found out that he ended up giving all my duties to my intern, whom he hired full-time at my salary. My intern could not do my job at all, and the project tanked. The CEO fired my manager, and reached out to bring me back to replace him...but I was already working somewhere else for more money.

At my most recent job I was let go after not being paid for two months. My company was financially not doing well, and I had been taking half pay for about 10 months, and then two more months of no pay at all. I ended up calling a meeting within the office and diagraming several different ways in which would allow us to have our salaries back...but they all involved being more transparent with the company. A coupe days later I was fired - they said they couldn't afford to pay me, and it was obvious I was unhappy. I told them they can't legally terminate my contract, because its a contract...I'm not an actual employee, and the only reason I'm not an employee is because ya'll didn't want to pay me benefits.

Anyhow, you can't terminate a contract in which you owe money, so technically until you pay me, I'm still employed. Well, they gave me a severance check of 1 month full pay so I'd sign a contract agreeing to it's termination. So, the contract was terminated...but I was still owed money. I sued them for my back wages and a judge awarded me my money. But, unfortunately the company went under, and I haven't been paid yet.

What was the point of tweeting about Kobe Bryant's rape allegations hours after his death, other than to say:

"I'm Glad He's Dead?"

Not only was it incredibly insensitive, but it added nothing to the media coverage. It wasn't apart of a larger story detailing his public persona. Her tweet did nothing but gaslight millions of grieving fans from around the world. It was incredibly unprofessional, and self-serving...which is insane. Seriously, it's insane how this person, regardless of her job title, is using this as a way to play victim. She made an insensitive remark at an inappropriate time, and now people are rightfully mad. What is even worst is that Anita hides behind the title of "journalist" - she's not a fucking news reporter! Sure the supreme court ruled that bloggers are to be classified as reporters...but clearly Anita is NOT the type of blogger people go to for impartial news coverage.

Besides, in general it annoys me how reporters always claim "public figure" but then try and claim victim when people get upset at their mudslinging. The thing is, social media is not an official channel - no matter how much they want it to be. Tweeting out the equivalent of "I'm glad Kobe Bryant is dead" before the bodies can even reach the morgue is not reporting facts in the midst of a greater story. Its just one person, with an insensitive opinion being an asshole. A journalist is not pardoned of any guilt for being a bad person, juts because of their job title. I'm tired of them hiding behind it.

"I'm allowed to slander Kobe Bryant because he's a celebrity, but if you criticize me for doing so then I'm a victim. I'm allowed to sling rocks, but you aren't allowed to throw them back because I am a reporter, not a public figure."

This rant will root outward from my previous one regarding dumbass pseudo-intellectual jackasses. Let me start off by explaining a scenario I had with one the other day. Here is the gist of the e-mail that I got:

I go to the mk5.org forums and i saw ur mk3 page and i went here. neways i was out looking for a video card and because i'm taking a programming class in 9th grade because i'm cool i decided to get ur opionion on the thing blah blah blah blah i don't get very good fps in coutnerstrike blah blah blah my clan is XOXOXOXKILLAZ blah blah blah blah.

And the guy literally went on for about two paragraphs boasting his ultra-cool 'programming class' and the fact that he's 'looking for a new video card'. These people piss me off the most. Just because they managed to install a stick of RAM in their computer means they can talk out their ass with just about anything that has something to do with computer.

The only thing I love about these kinds of people is the fact that they're so fun to prove wrong. I was sitting next to this assfuck in my Technology class today (yeah, my school doesn't have shitty C++ class because they realize the fact that teaching a tough programming language to a bunch of dumbshits is like teaching a cat to come up with a cure for cancer), when he went into 'elite' bullshit mode about his sick fetish with the Japanese culture and whatnot. I don't get these kinds of nerds. They embrace ANYTHING that has to do with the Japanese culture just because it's Japanese and not interesting and unusual. These kind of idiots are usually the ones who walk around with Japanese shirts with kanji words on them that translates to dumbass phrases like "life blossom" or "endless light." It's especially funny hearing these t***s chime off on Japanese animation (or 'anime' to the super-cool elite).

I just ordered N95 masks for me and the family. Also carrying wet wipes and hand sanitizer with us everywhere we go. My parents arrive in Shanghai on the 28th. This shit is really going to restrict what we can do.

Already 10 reported cases in my city. We are about 1000km from Wuhan.

This rant will root outward from my previous one regarding dumbass pseudo-intellectual jackasses. Let me start off by explaining a scenario I had with one the other day. Here is the gist of the e-mail that I got:

Hey Cory what's up hehe u prolly don't kno me but I really think ur rants are funny. I go to the mk5.org forums and i saw ur mk3 page and i went here. neways i was out looking for a video card and because i'm taking a programming class in 9th grade because i'm cool i decided to get ur opionion on the thing blah blah blah blah i don't get very good fps in coutnerstrike blah blah blah my clan is XOXOXOXKILLAZ blah blah blah blah.

And the guy literally went on for about two paragraphs boasting his ultra-cool 'programming class' and the fact that he's 'looking for a new video card'. These people piss me off the most. Just because they managed to install a stick of RAM in their computer means they can talk out their ass with just about anything that has something to do with computer.

The only thing I love about these kinds of people is the fact that they're so fun to prove wrong. I was sitting next to this assfuck in my Technology class today (yeah, my school doesn't have shitty C++ class because they realize the fact that teaching a tough programming language to a bunch of dumbshits is like teaching a cat to come up with a cure for cancer), when he went into 'elite' bullshit mode about his sick fetish with the Japanese culture and whatnot. I don't get these kinds of nerds. They embrace ANYTHING that has to do with the Japanese culture just because it's Japanese and not interesting and unusual. These kind of idiots are usually the ones who walk around with Japanese shirts with kanji words on them that translates to dumbass phrases like "life blossom" or "endless light." It's especially funny hearing these t***s chime off on Japanese animation (or 'anime' to the super-cool elite).

Man I hate people.

Yea, I got one up to 300+ before I was moderated for something. Can't remember the post, nor why it was moderated...just my shock that it took so long - took about three weeks. It was on the MK11 boards.
