y'all are wrong. this is a matter of interpretation and the only correct way to interpret this is as a fraction i.e. 8/(2(2+2)).

since y'all apparently never done any algebra, let me walk you through it.
divide all the equation into separate parts
8=a
2=b
2+2=c

a/bc is 1 (how its suppose to be done)

a/b * c= 16 (what you're doing)

if y'all really are math majors you need to get a refund on your degree cuz y'all aint learn shit. I can see if you're arguing for a/b * c IF IT WAS ACTUALLY SHOWN THAT WAY AS A FRACTION. but it wasn't, and i'm checking your math.

8/2(2+2) = 8/2(4)
8/2(4)=8/8
8/8=1

or

8/2(2+2)=4/1(2+2)
4/1(2+2)= 4/1(4)
4/1(4)= 4/4
4/4=1

The irony here is that you're the one who can't do math. 8/2(4) is the same as (8/2)(4) and 4/1(4) is the same as (4/1)(4). You seem to think it magically turns into 8/(2*4) and 4/(1*4). Some of us do this shit for a living. Get a clue.

Annnnnd it's stuck.

Well, I'm in safe mode now. This time it didn't show up until I clicked rescan disks, and the device manager showed it as "unknown device" until I did so.

I am confused and annoyed.

I have no clue what's going on. About a week ago my computer suddenly stopped being able to read files on my D drive. After restarting the computer it just couldn't detect it at all, neither in explorer, device manager or disk manager. A hard restart of the computer eventually fixed it after I checked to see if it could be detected in the bios.

Now the problem's started again. This time a hard restart does not fix it. When I start the computer in safe mode I can see and browse the D drive just fine. When I start the computer normally however, the computer first takes about 3 minutes to start, which is about 3 minutes longer than it normally takes, then I see this:



I can see the D drive in quick access, but it has no name. It doesn't show under volumes, but I can see an unallocated disk, which I can't initialize because it says the drive doesn't exist. I can see the driver in device manager, which apparently has no issues.

After I select either "Rescan disks" or "Scan for hardware changes" all of them vanish into the aether and I can no longer see any trace of the D drive anywhere except for buttons for Pictures and Documents and whatnot that just say the device is unavailable.

Seen some strange errors in Event Viewer that I have no clue what they mean.

Hundreds of the following with different service names:

I can't backup the drive because when I run the computer in safe mode I can't access my external hard drives. Anyone have any clue what's going on?

if all of humanity got infected then at minimum 300,000,000 people will die, but there are clowns out there who would still say the flu is worse and to stop being paranoid.

The mortality rate for the flu where I live is 0.015%. That's about 1 in 7000. In Italy, it's 0.008%. That's 1 in 12500. Pretty big difference between that and the coronavirus.

Best part is Region Skne is refusing to say where in Scania these infections are taking place. The only thing I know for sure is the first case was minutes from where I live.

I'm starting to think at this point the WHO is trying to delay calling the coronavirus a pandemic as much as possible.

They said outright the reason they aren't calling it a pandemic is because they no longer use that word as a classification.

I did a bit of counting comparing the lethality of coronavirus and the flu.

Influenza mortality rate in Italy: 0.008%
Coronavirus mortality rate in Italy: 4.2%, 525 times higher mortality than the flu in the same region.

Let's see, 50% of the US pop is about 150 million, mortality rate for the coronavirus is about 3%, with lethality being the highest during the 2nd week of infection.

150000000*0.03 = 4500000

I'd say no, it hasn't infected half the US population.
