should be banning all air travel to/from those areas until we can get the problem fixed if everything turns to normal despite those places.
there's hope for the west coast to combat this.

California and Washington are still getting slammed but Oregon seems to be doing something right.

Friday: 98 cases
Satirday and Sunday: 68 cases both days
Today: 58 cases

685 cases total, 16 deaths.

The rains have driven people back into their homes. I'm not saying we're out of the woods but I doubt we'll get even close to Washington levels.

Now only if we can close the border with California.

Washington-4319 cases and 195 deaths

Oregon-469 cases, 15 deaths. Oregon had 98 deaths yesterday, 68 today. People starting to say it's not going to be as bad as first thought but still early.

Washington Gov Jay Insley waited way to long to order a shelter in place.

I'm starting to get bored as f***. No sports to watch and no place to workout. I picked a bad time to start hypnosis to help lose weight.

Oregon now has 268 cases with 10 deaths and rumored to peek in a few things. Domestic violence cases are also up this past week.

Washington is up to 2580 w 123 deaths.

Also, North Korea is saying they don't have any cases but are still doing social distancing.,Sounds fishy.

Governor Kate Brown to announce a stay at home order today but its not as strict as other states. Still allowed to go outside and do things like hiking and exercising but no public gatherings.

Going to be rainy all week so I doubt people will be flocking to the gorge or other areas.

Portland is getting some sort of announcement on Monday. Yesterday the mayor and governor held a press conference that was an utter mess. They're announcement was that another announcement would be coming after the weekend (Actuslly, the governor called it a stay home stay healthy order)

Seems like the whole thing is still being put together. Weather has been nice lately so people have been out enjoying themselves and spring break "officially" started this weekend so the coast is packed which is annoying the locals that live there. The good news is that rain returns Monday so people won't be going out as much.

Only 109 cases here w 4 deaths but the county across the river in Washington is beginning to get slammed.

Still to early for that. A lot of people are outside right now due to the nice weather. That will change next week when rainy westher moves in.

But I have a feeling a shelter in place announcement will be coming by the end of the weekend.

Portlands mayor is considering a shelter in place order but is keeping all options on the table.

People are going insane on some of the local media Facebook pages. Some are angry that they saw people at playgrounds, jogging and having fun outside. The weather is actually nice right now so people are taking advantage of it. The media is actually encouraging people to go out as long as do social distancing.

Theres only 74 cases in the whole state w/ 3 deaths. All nursing homes have been locked down, no visitors allowed

This board and the news is making me paranoid.

So I just left my parents house. Its sunny and 60 degrees here in Portland. Instead of seeing empty streets I see people riding their bikes with kids and others walking.

Im on the bus now. There are more then 10 people on it. Everyone is talking but practicing social distancing. Oh look, more people just got on the bus.

Am I worried about being outside? Not one bit. I have a strong immune system, sick once in the last 5 years and that one time was back in November. My mother had recently suffered a stroke and I was spending to much time at the hospital.

Continue to go out and enjoy the day. If youre to scared to do anything, then the virus, just like terrorists has already won.

My wife is a claims assistant for an insurance company. Her team (which deals with Wal-mart)and everyone else who works there was given the option to work from home or work from the office.

She is opting to work in the office since she lives 5 minutes from it. A lot of the adjusters are planning to work from home so the office won't be over crowded.
