Now you add in ridiculous insurance costs and the threat of lawsuits all the time in our sue happy society and so hospitals have no choice but to pay out big bucks to hire doctors, thus driving up the costs which are passed on to us.wow, you just went way overboard and just had to make up situations in your mind in a shitty attempt to refute me? have fun imagining the worst of everyone who doesn't agree with you. nurses aren't paid that much either, yet they need a license. a quick look even suggest the average salary of a nurse is on par with a cop in my area and police budgets have been pretty damn high for a while. do they need military grade equipment? can they use that money for other things? we seriously need to look into restructuring the budgets that police get and make sure it's actually being spent wisely instead of on items that are appropriate for the situations they find themselves in. --- |
