Sometimes I think long distance space travel is just too hard for any species to figure out, at least before they die out somehow. Therefore, intelligent species will never find each other. Even if one does find a way, the distance to the next world with intelligent life could be unfathomable even with said long distance travel method.

Part of the reason why I think Earth hasn't been visited by extraterrestrial life.

It's weird because it's only started doing this for about the past three episodes or so. Might switch to Netflix anyway where you might actually be able to switch off the English subs too.

I have a BA in Political Science but I'm not sure I'd call it a formal area of expertise at all.

My actual job would be hard to narrow down to one "area".

Anyone else have this issue with Funimation's site/player?

I can't go fullscreen and get rid of the UI. I have to watch it with the episode title/progress bar etc all still there. Annoying enough to make me want to switch to Netflix.

Shotgun and grenades do work well on those (called Hunters). I would kill them if they're giving you a lot of trouble and/or they are in your way.

I don't think I have attempted singing since like the Christmas choir in Kindergarten when I was 5.

5-6 during the workweek, usually 8-10 on weekends.

I have school dreams all the time, like at least monthly. They're always kind of vaguely set in high school or college, hard to tell exactly. Not the same thing always happens in them but they're always very similar. And yeah I also get the impression that I am my current age in the dreams rather than going back to being a teen/early 20s.

The basic premises are:

I have been skipping a class all semester. I am now going to the class for the first time in a long time and will have to see how bad the "damage" is.

Arriving to class to take a midterm/final that I didn't prepare for and am definitely going to bomb. Dream always ends right before I actually take the test.

I didn't think RE6 was that bad. Decently fun game IMO.

I didn't care too much for Noir, I started watching it a couple months back. I got maybe like 6 episodes in. Music was pretty good though from what little I heard.

Yeah, I heard about the Madoka comparison which is why I decided to check it out. I'll give it the standard three episode thing.

The title D-Frag makes me think of a frag grenade but I'm guessing it has nothing to do with any weapons.

I watched the first episode of Mai-Hime. First episode was fairly generic and not really very interesting. I'll give it one or two more episodes before I stop watching unless someone has seen it and can vouch for it.

I started reading them in elementary school. I never read them all in order, kind of just did random ones and skipped some here and there.

Also watched the TV show which I remember being really hyped for.

I tend to eat one big meal a day rather than three separate ones. Maybe a couple of other small snacks throughout the day.

Probably not good for me but it's how I've always been.

Double quarter pounder and large fries is my most common order if I go. Will occasionally do the chicken tenders or nuggets instead.

I kind of agree with the difficulty comment, I'm still really early in the game but I feel like I had to use way too many potions to survive the first boss battle. Also, some "doomrats" in like the first sidequest were surprisingly hard to beat. I feel like I'm doing something wrong.

I remember my little sister really being into that years ago (must have been an older version, this was like around 2004), and she had me watch some of the episodes with her. The only things I really remember are the orange haired guy being able to turn into a cat and the gray haired guy changing into a rat.

I liked the taunt thing where you could toss a lit cigarette to distract enemies. I never beat it though.

Russia could wipe us out... and they don't spend anywhere near what we or China do.

I mean if we're talking nukes, a lot of countries could wipe each other out probably.

The conventional military might of the US still far overpowers that of Russia and China though and that also serves as a deterrent along with nukes.

If it ever comes to the point that China is nuking the USA, human civilization is pretty much over at that point anyway.

Though I guess the existence of Splatoon 2 kind of makes it redundant now. Overall though I think I had more fun with 1.

Heroes is actually pretty good, in its own little way.

I remember mostly liking it, but my interest in the series was kind of just naturally waning at that point.

I thought it was pretty good. Watching it with three friends that kind of constantly tried to clown on it did detract from the experience slightly, which is usually why I prefer watching anything alone in the dark with headphones.

I never did. I was actually pretty into Sonic back around when the Adventure games were first coming out, but after I played Sonic Heroes my interest waned in the series and I didn't play any of the new games after that for a while.

I've never really used them. I just remember the page I was on and open back to it.

I guess one would have helped that one time I was reading A Game of Thrones and picked it up to start reading it again, accidentally opened to a page further than I was, and my eyes landed on a line that spoiled the major spoiler in that book, though.

The fast food. I honestly love fast food, probably one of my biggest vices.

If the actual white castle burgers are anything like the frozen ones, then yeah white castle is the worst.

The only experience I have with White Castle is the small frozen burgers you microwave. They don't have the actual restaurants out here.

I had a session going with a few friends but we moved it online during the pandemic.

Honestly I'm not nearly as engaged during the online sessions and can't get into it at all. I think DnD is an in-person thing for me.
