I kinda do. What won me over is that he shows up in a video on Star Tours at Disney Hollywood Studios down in Orlando. The setup is that he's Finn calling your ship to transmit some message or some shit, but it looks like he just recorded himself in his car on his phone. He's just rocking around in his seat. The image of him doing this himself won me over.

TopicHey so I like MGS a fair bit, but why are they so bad at stealth?
CW_McGraw
05/15/20 10:10:58 AM
#3
The standards for what good stealth mechanics are have changed drastically over the last 2 decades since MGS came out. The ability to use sound to lure guards away from their posts was cutting edge shit back then. What you characterize as bad AI is the foundation for stealth games. Enemies are kinda dumb, but you suck enough at combat to make the odds more even. If you're an efficient killing machine like in MGS4 or 5, there's not tons of incentive to avoid combat. The combat in MGS is cumbersome for a reason.

She'd play Monopoly for the Sega Genesis when we'd rent it and Chef's Love Shack for the PS1. With that one, she was awful at the minigames, but was good at the trivia, so it was pretty balanced when she'd play against us.

American is an arrogant, degenerate society in decline that will be lucky to make it another century in its current form. Ignoring military capabilities, if America today had to fight WWII, it would lose. They would talk themselves into Pearl Harbor being an inside job or claim that Hitler's quarrels would end in Europe.

I'm pretty casual, but my dad had dozen of Zappa albums and CDs. I had never bothered to listen to Watermelon in Easter Hay before. I was just watching some Youtube video of two dudes comparing Telecasters and Strats while jamming and thought to myself, "Wow, this is awful. I guess I just don't like guitar music anymore." Watermelon in Easter Hay has changed my mind.

I liked Son of Mr. Green Jeans, Montana, Catholic Girls, and Billy the Mountain.
