well it is kinda weird that no one in the US seems to be getting killed by vaping anymore. People are saying Coronavirus causes the same kind of lung damage that people were saying was due to vaping, and that was only 3-4 months before the virus outbreak

From what I understand all of those vaping related deaths were related to black market thc cartridges. From China.

I read the book before I saw the movie. Chrichton gets some shit but I always saw his most appropriate target audience being young people who like science and people relaxing on the beach. His books are great for that.

I can see how you came to that conclusion though.

This quote seems to say the opposite.

No discussions occurred between WHO and CDC about WHO providing COVID-19 tests to the United States, said WHO spokesperson Margaret Harris. This is consistent with experience since the United States does not ordinarily rely on WHO for reagents or diagnostic tests because of sufficient domestic capacity.

Personally, I think rejecting their test was a mistake. But, apparently we do it routinely.

Because the tests (that we developed on our own) were fucking garbage an didnt work. If we had made the WHO tests maybe they would have worked.

We rejected their design, we never rejected an actual physical test kit. They dont send those to us because we can make them ourselves.

Well, Bolton did. But Trump hired Bolton and didnt repair the damage he did after firing him. Both of those are on Trump.

The only way the first two points could be related to the second two points is if the theory is that the WHO testing protocols were rejected in order to make the pandemic worse, so that the company in question could develop a website to find testing locations.
