His own party hates him and he routinely fails to get votes from his own supporters to be the candidate of his own party.

But yet if he went head to head against other parties he is not even part of he will somehow get them all to vote for him and get his own supporters to actually vote?

How does that make any sense?

It's like going to a boxing match and seeing your fighter let's call him Sanchez get beaten up by a girl and then going "Yeah but if Sanchez was allowed to fight prime Mike Tyson he'd win easily."

And this isn't a knock, I think Sanders is the least worst choice of everyone who ran in 2016 and 2020 including Bill Weld. He's the only political figure in mainstream America who seems to have a trace of genuine passion and honesty still around in his eldery bones.

I'd pick him over Biden or Trump without a lot of hesitiation. But I can't pretend Biden or Trump wouldn't wipe the floor with him regardless of my thoughts. Especially Trump since Republicans hate Sanders anyway.

"Well the people who agree with him hate it but those who hate and disagree with him will come out to support him droves!" seems like a statement engineered specifically to drive Vulcans to suicide via intense doses of acute illogic.
