Unless you're saying you reject that kind of social expectation and would be perfectly fine seeing women walk around during summer in shorts and skirts and bathing suits, but their legs and armpits and nethers are completely hairy. If that image doesn't bother you, then I guess I am being overly vain.

I can't speak for everyone in this thread but be personally I'm fine with it. My wife doesn't shave anything in Winter, and I'm cool with it. During Summer, she does it make once a week or two, and it still doesn't bother me.

I think you're overestimating how many people are that offended by it in 2020. I used to shave my pubes in college, and it was excruciating. Once I stopped, I wondered why the fuck I bothered, considering how painful shaving and ingrown hairs were.

Well, be that as it may, I think I'd get at least a few funny looks if I went out in public in a skimpy outfit and rocking a "full grown" look. It's not the early 1900s anymore, I can't get away with that for long.

That's really cool TC. I'm a guy, but I wouldn't mind having some body hair removed too. I just don't have the money to spend.

Also, I hit puberty early & had pretty much all of my leg hair by 12, so I really feel you on that. And I definitely agree with you on ingrown hairs, I get a ton of those on my legs.
Why do our bodies hate us? It's like intentional sabotage or something.

Nice!

I did Brazilian laser a few years ago. It definitely grew back after 2 years, which is annoying. Its not as thick as before, so I get waxed every 2-3 months and its fine. Been thinking of getting laser again but if it grows back Im not sure its worth it.

Maybe I should see if any of the places has an unlimited package as well.

So, you'd wear it on the hips rather than the waist? I usually do that with a short skirt, too.
Yeah, tucking it is always an option. Best place to do that is near the back zipper, if it's that kind of skirt.
Maybe, but I thought corsets were more for chests and waists and girdles were for tummies and stuff?

Maybe some of the women you know weren't telling the truth or had lighter, thinner, or slower hair or maybe they weren't as self conscious. I mean, I've seen it on my girl friends before. They shave, they're good for a few days, then little wisps start to grow and they gotta give it the once over in the shower in the morning and they're good again.
Yeah, what you describe here has been my general experience with the women I've had close relationships with. Basically a couple of minutes in the shower real quick like twice a week, often not even needing to lather up. I certainly know of hair types like you describe, just haven't been close with any women who have it myself. It sounds awful to deal with, especially with physical pain/discomfort constantly drawing your attention to it. I'm glad that you have an option to deal with it in a real and hopefully permanent way. Maybe your description of what it's like will help some people here realize that five grand is a pretty small price to pay when you look at the larger picture.

Right, exactly. I mean, it's not that much different from guys spending money on a gym membership, personal trainer, and healthy foods and supplements to get buff or at least fit. Some guys get so obsessed with looking like Chads that they'll dump money into it endlessly to look and feel better. And, of course, sometimes to appeal to the fairer sex. I personally like chubby guys. More to hug and cuddle with, they're stronger than skinny guys, and it sometimes means they're less shallow and don't care about looks as much as personality. But still some guys want to get those abs and physique and good for them. There is no perfect way of achieving goals so you just gotta find what's right for you.

And the pain thing can be terrible. I got an ingrown hair on my right leg a few months ago and my skin swelled up pretty bad. When it finally popped, about a tablespoon of puss poured out and I had a hole in my leg the size of a nail head. It was so painful, even when I wasn't touching it. It still hasn't fully healed and I'm afraid it might not completely heal or at least leave discoloration or a scar. The struggle is real out here, man. No doubt.

It's 'cause they've never had to deal with it like we do. There's a lot of subtlety they're missing by not being in the thick of it, you know? Like, sure. Manscaping is definitely a thing, but it's not nearly as expected as what we're supposed to do with, like, 90% of our body surface.

Thankies! I'm super jazzed about it. And you know me, I did this for myself, not to please anyone. Not like it would affect my partner one way or another. As you can imagine, he's totally ambivalent about it lmao.

Yeah, I just don't think that I can name a single woman I've known who is so concerned with leg hair that they won't wear shorts or skirts without freshly shaven legs, they generally have to be like a couple of weeks growth. I guess that plus the people posting in the topic obviously focusing more on the pubes than leg hair made my mind go to that.

So, what's the story TC? Is it about the legs? Do you have unusually fast growing or dark hair, do you feel uncomfortable if people see you with anything less than completely hairless legs?
Yes, it's mostly about my legs. My pubic hair is relatively normal in terms of length, color, and distribution. But my legs are an absolute fucking nightmare wrapped in the deepest pit of Hell. It's thick, it's dark, it's coarse, and it won't fucking behave. Even after I epilate, I get the strawberry seed pucker effect because my follicles are so big. I once got a wax and it grew back the next day. It's the genetic hand I was dealt and I've hated myself for years for it. Even after I shave or epilate, I'm still hesitant to go out in public in a skirt or shorts. Not me, no way. I shave, the next day it's growing back like a lumberjack's beard. Prickly, thick, red skin, and bumpy. If I even TRY to shave that soon, I just get razor burn and it doesn't even work on the hairs that haven't breached the skin yet. It itches, it takes forever to grow to the right length for more maintenance, and it's just painful, inside and out. I mean fuck, I had completely black, long, full leg hair when I was fucking 11 or 12. Some people even think it's fucking weird that my head hair is brown, but the rest of my body hair is black as night.

But I digress... I can't stand to look at myself like this anymore. I'm disgusted and I need to do this for myself or I'm gonna feel horrible my whole life.

P.S. To Those Asking About Skirts and Pubes,
Some of the point of wearing a skirt is to feel beautiful and/or sexy. It's summer, it's time for short, cute clothes. I can't speak for all women, but I can speak for some when I say I don't feel sexy walking around in a skirt with shaved legs, but a full bush. I'm likely wearing a thong or something else breezy so I want to feel sexy everywhere. I'm not gonna put in the effort on my legs only to wear granny panties because I didn't want to trim my mange. It's not about what you can see, it's about what I feel. Get it?

That was my concern, too. But since I got their unlimited package, I can just go back and get treated again for no extra charge so I consider it to not be as big a factor. If I had gone with electrolysis, I'd probably have to keep paying down the line if it came back even after years of absence.

Well, "linda" actually means "beautiful", but "bonita" is used more commonly. It can mean "cute", though I haven't seen it translated that way since there are other diminutive and/or affectionate adjectives that you can use to more specifically describe the target. However, "linda" is used more in Brazilian Portuguese which is similar to Spanish.

Expensive but worth it if it's truly permanent. Think of all the money you'll save on waxing and shaving products.. not to mention time! That alone would be a huge selling point for me. It's awesome that you're getting a deal on it.

In the past I've had this thought about permanent hair removal and had a little chuckle to myself. Like, imagine if you got all the hair down there permanently removed and then later on down the road bushes came back in a MAJOR way. Like to the point where if guys saw a shaved/waxed one they would suddenly be like "Gross, I ain't no pedo!" :P Maybe it was like that before when chicks first started doing it. Or considered slutty because only pornstars did at first.

It would never happen today though. Bare or at least trimmed very short is so much more hygenic and better for oral, it's no contest.
Glad you get my vibe! And think of all the pain I'll avoid! Man is epilating painful as hell.

I see your point. I wouldn't be surprised if a big 70s bush came back in vogue sometime, but I'm not gonna wait around and hope that happens. I'm young now and want to make the most of it before age drags me down to the eternal pit. Besides, you know how guys are. They'll hump anything if they're desperate enough so I'm sure there will be no shortage of guys into the bare style no matter what's popular at any given time. Besides, it's not just to show off during sex, it's so I can wear a bathing suit anytime or wear shorts or a skirt during summer. Plus the added bonus of not getting that sweaty pube smell. No ingrown hairs, either. It has more than just one application.

I've always wanted permanent hair removal treatment, but never had the money or facilities to do it. Well, not anymore! A new laser hair removal center opened somewhat near me and I took the plunge! I've considered electrolysis in the past, but this is good, too. Normally, laser hair removal only works for about a year before you need another treatment, but that's for home systems you can use yourself since they're less powerful. Besides, you need to replace the bulb pretty regularly so it can get expensive over time. But since this is a more powerful laser that requires a licensed medical professional to operate, it's completely permanent. Not to mention I got their unlimited package so if I need additional treatment down the line, I don't need to pay extra. It's all included for life. I was most surprised about the zones they treat. I chose full legs and full Brazilian. So my legs and bush will be gone completely, even around the delicate parts. So I'll be smooth as silk down there forever! Isn't that so cool??

It's not all about sensitivity. Sexual pleasure is more than just physical sensation. Mentality has arguably more to do with it than the sensation. Someone could be just so overwhelmed with erotic feelings and thoughts that they reach orgasm quickly. Or it could be a lack of masturbation so the only time they feel that pleasure is during intercourse so there could be long periods between release. Or even if they have access to intercourse pretty much unfettered they could have no control or desire to control their pace and go as fast as possible because that's their ultimate goal instead of the act before it. The average human male orgasm takes about 7 minutes. It's biologically advantageous to be able to act quickly to pass on genes than to devote more time and more energy to sex in detriment to other activities.

It might be more noticeable than you think. Just reaching your climax fast is the least of your worries. It's been my experience that virgins are so lacking in skill (for obvious reasons) that you basically have to coach them. Then they get nervous and can't get hard or breakdown or something else that keeps them from actually getting it in. Just be honest and find someone willing to hold your hand through such a difficult transition in life.

I transfer everything, but I guess not this time since they couldn't be bothered adding everyone back in.

Ever since gen 6 there's been a massive delay between the release of the game and being able to transfer. In gen 4 and maybe gen 5 you couldn't do it until the post game. This argument doesn't hold.
I think that was a tactical move since they're adding 200+ Pokmon in the expansions.

I phrased that poorly. What I meant was it just seems like you're getting through the game only to transfer your old team and rely on them again when you already have a perfectly good team you raised throughout the story. And by that time, what's the point of having your old team if the game is basically beaten?

Transfer your old team(s)? Or let them stay where they were born?

Me and my boyfriend were having a rather heated debate about the need, or not, to transfer Pokmon from older generations up to the current games, whatever those games are at any given time. I'm of the mind that it's cruel to take Pokmon away from their native region (game) just to use them in a new game when you already have an abundance of creatures to catch, breed, or otherwise obtain and that it wouldn't be fair to rip them away from their original Trainer when you already have a team to use. I mean, what will happen to your character in the old games you transfer from when their beloved 'mons are taken away? Especially Legendaries! That's the whole point of them being in their native games. What is Diamond without Dialga or SoulSilver without Lugia? They're supposed to be there. His opinion is that it means he likes, or even loves, the Pokmon enough to keep using them game after game after game and that it's great to have the option to bring them with him on future adventures to come. He also believes I'm in the minority when it comes to not transferring. But it's not like I'd never transfer or that I haven't. I just think you shouldn't transfer your main team, Legendaries, exclusives, Event Pokmon, and other special ones that you can't really replace by just catching. Like, if I wanted a Hoenn Zigzagoon in my Sword Version I'd be fine with catching one or breeding one and transferring it because it's common in Hoenn, but not found in Galar. But I'd NEVER transfer my Starter from any game or my main team or a Legendary because they're meant to stay where you caught them. Also, I'm viewing this example from a lens of all Pokmon being available to add to any game after the National Dex is obtained. I know Sword and Shield are an outlier in this, but traditionally it was possibly before this.

And where does it end? Why bother even getting a new game if you're not going to try out the new Pokmon and form a new team? You're just using the same team over and over and over again without trying out what the new region has to offer. And it's not even feasible considering your old team is over leveled right off the bat and/or the ability to transfer is locked off until a certain point in the game. Not to mention possible Type changes, moveset differences, stat and Ability rebalances, and loss of features through items, like the Griseous Orb being locked to Platinum or the Soul Dew being nerfed. You'd have to completely rework some winning strategies that just don't hold up like they used to. Finally, once you transfer, there's no going back. It's so permanent and sudden that I just can't get behind it.

So, what do you guys think? Keep your partners where they're meant to be? Or transfer them ever upward and continue the adventure?
