You can always use food to compensate for either, but heart increasing food always seemed more efficient to me. --- |

He told her to strike him down in anger to complete her journey to the Dark Side. She did not, and only defended herself, which is basically the epitome of the Jedi way. She reflects his own lightning back at him, much like Mace did. This is spelled out by the movie, not sure how you missed it. --- |
