For me it was the Cell Saga. I think it's tht way for a lot of fans, North American ones at least, who first enoucntered the series in the late 90s or early 2000s on Cartoon Network. Cell Saga always seemed to be playing.

Then after the fact I saw the Vegeta saga and the Freiza saga. And I remember being so excited when they finally started showing Buu here on the Cartoon Network....and then it was a huge disappointment.

Kakarot v Vegeta: Who ya got?

obviously goku. goku was stronger than him ever since his spaceship training, with the only exception being for the day vegeta went into the time chamber early

Goku is stronger if he gets back UI. Vegeta's SSBE is equal to Gokus Kaioken X20 SSB form.

And most importantly Vegeta is way cooler

They do a good job, it reminds me of WCW ( I mean good WCW) with its emphasis on tag team and high flying wrestlers. WCW became great not just because of the NWO, but because of Dean Malenko, Eddy Guererro, Rey Misterio, early Chris Jericho etc. That was my first expsore to all those guys.

Likewise, outside of the WWE guys like Jericho and Cody, all these AEW guys are new to me, and very impressive

I have grown up watching professional wrestling since the 80s -- I remember watching Hogan slam Andre as a kid at my uncle's house when he used his black box device (remember those?) to get every wrestling ppv and Tyson fight.

The Attitude era was indeed the best era of wrestling in my lifetime because as a consumer we had choice -- and competition and choice is ultimately best for consumers. I was a lifelong WWF fan, but when WCW put out a better product I unreservedly switched to them, and then again back to WWF when they got better.

Since the demise of WCW there hasn't really been competition ( and I mean competition on a prime time cable network, something I can easily follow, not having to log on to websites to watch stuff from Japan at 3 am due to the time difference) TNA was solid for a few years in the mid-aughts, but ultimately couldn't fill that void.

Well, after just a few episodes of AEW, I am now on board and will follow them exclusively. WWE has been in a 5-6 year creative lull and now it's up to them to win back my business.

It was not a decision that was made lightly, but the decision hath been made....

And the console was way ahead of its time. I really wish it had succeeded, and right now I was playing the "Sega Wonderbox" or whatever their latest gen console would have been called...

The video game landscape is much worse for having Play Station replace Sega as the "second" console maker.

Could be; but since PS came first I give it the deference over x box. Point is, the two are redundant, we don't need both. Video game landscape was better when we had Sega, Nintendo and Sony each doing very different things.

The video game landscape is much worse for having X Box replace Sega as the "third" console maker. X Box does the same shit and plays the same games as Playstation; there's no difference and its existence is pointless. Meanwhile, Sega's unique and fun consoles were a refreshing third option to Nintendo and Sony.

I am going to an AA meeting, simply to have people to socialize with on a Friday night. I have nothing else to do and no one to hang out with and am so desperately lonely.

And think of you
Caught up in circles
Confusion is nothing new
Flashback, warm nights
Almost left behind
Suitcases of memories
Time after
Sometimes you picture me
I'm walking too far ahead
You're calling to me, I can't hear
What you've said
Then you say, go slow
I fall behind
The second hand unwinds
