I picked up Decrypto and was really excited to play it, but it fell really flat with my usual group so we haven't played it again. I liked it, though. :(

CnG is a great "audience game". We played it at our local brewery and pretty much everyone who came in was engrossed in watching us and laughing.

Pit is my 7-year-old son's favorite game that we own. He always calls it "the yelling game". It's also under $10 on Amazon to get a copy so it won't put you out to buy a new copy!

Tokaido is fun to play exactly once, then it's just a shallow game with very pretty art and theme.

Surprised Takenoko is so high. I own it and have played a couple times but it's never really clicked with any of us. The components are nice to look at, though.

6 nimmt is one of my favorite openers for people who aren't big board/card gamers. Super easy to learn and tends to really get people hyped up quickly and ready to try more new things.

Just saw this topic. We seem to have very opposite tastes in board games. I actually played ONUW yesterday (and a few other games like Quacks of Quedlinburg and Marvel Champions) and have all the ONUW games minus Super Villains. Games like ONUW, SH, etc really depend on the group, though. Interested to see how this list plays out.

Currently near the beginning of Chapter 3. Been really busy lately so haven't had the time I'd like to invest in the game, but I've been big on the series for a long time and CS3 is fantastic so far.

They won't. The Switch port is NISA's idea and western distribution rights for the first two CS games are still held by XSEED. That's why NISA's pushed CS3 as a good entry point to the series, even though it's the exact opposite; they're not going to say you should go and play a game released by one of their competitors even though it's crucial in a series as long as Trails at this point.

Agreed, it's not gonna happen. It's a shame because the Switch would be a perfect place to get more eyeballs on the series. I'd really kill to get Sky or even better, Crossbell on there.

Thanks for the kind words, guys! It's a shame it had to come to this but keeping it running just didn't make sense anymore. Marc and I have been working on this for a while now, and all of the GR data will be ported over to MC, so nothing will be lost.

There's a DG like 2 minutes from my house, before I have to get on any main roads. I go there often to grab household things when we're low or unexpectedly run out like trash bags, tp, milk, etc.

It's been touched upon already, but one of the reasons you see older accounts stick to purgatory rather than banning is that their identity, their personal account that they are known for, is the strongest carrot that we have to dangle in front of someone to force them to behave. Once you take it away, there's nothing left to encourage good behavior.

You absolutely cannot treat all problematic users the same because they aren't the same. I saw mention of Hey earlier. People of that nature can't be treated in the same way as someone like The Admiral because they do things much differently. Hey was stopped by months and months of silent site updates to block each method used to create spam accounts. I have no reason to believe that Admiral would go down that kind of route, which is why he isn't treated the same way.

Having said that, he's been on an extremely slippery slope this year, and managing him via purgatories has gotten rather tedious. Since he's gotten himself suspended yet again, and the "good behavior" window has all but disappeared at this point, he's getting the boot. He almost got it a few months ago on a different suspension but the offense was so minor that a ban just didn't make sense. This time the punishment fits the crime, so that's that.

To those who think it should be a trivial process keeping someone away from the site, I would encourage you to do some research on just how easy it is to access anything you want to on the Internet. We can and certainly do things to slow people down (see: Hey), but if someone wants to be here, they are going to be here. That's all there is to it, and anyone who thinks otherwise is extremely naive.

As for Admiral, I wouldn't start celebrating his banning if I were you. The carrot's gone, and he clearly likes CE. Guess we'll see what kind of person he is.

It's actually a pretty fun game and like others have said, it's a real good workout as long as you don't set it to be too easy. Oddly, my two kids love it too and always ask me if they can play "that exercise game".

We got a cheap TCL for our bedroom that works great and looks fine. It's a solid brand, though if I were splurging on a larger 4k TV I would probably go with someone else. Our 4k TV is a Samsung and I've been quite happy with it.

If we had the traffic of 2004 Proboards then embedding images would be a non-issue. Since we don't, we tend to make image host websites a little unhappy when we just embed their content directly.
