My company allows us to look at Reddit when we have free time, no big deal tons of people do it blah blah blah. However today when I was surfing Reddit I came across a post where the OP was feeling depressed so I decided to click on their name to see if they were always like that.

When I clicked on it I saw that their recent posts were all from gonewild and they all had nfsw tags so so far so good. But a little bit down the page there were thumbnails that were actually shown, I'm not sure if they were actually nude or they just had tape over their nipples, I quickly backed out so I didn't get a chance to see.

IT probably got flagged and I will get fired soon sigh

I bet you take umbrage to people taking pictures of their food.

Most people are, in the most ordinary sense, very limited. They passed their time, day after day, in idle, passive pursuits, just looking at things - games, television, whatever. Or they fill the hours talking, mostly about nothing of significance, of comings and goings, of who is doing what, of the weather, of things forgotten almost as soon as they are mentioned.

They have no aspirations for themselves beyond getting through another day doing more or less what they did yesterday. They walk across the stage of life, leaving everything about as it was when they entered, achieving nothing, aspiring to nothing, having never a profound or even original thought.

This is what is common, usual, typical, indeed normal. Relatively few rise above such a plodding existence.

"Man cannot discover new oceans unless he has the courage to lose sight of the shore"

A disturbing trend has appeared during the 20th century, many men and women well into their adult years have remained psychologically stunted in their maturation. They remain too long in adolescent psychology, all those characteristics that are normal in a youth of 17 or 18 are continued into later life, coupled in most cases with too great of a dependence on the mother.

Instead of striving to create something of themselves, many prefer the familiar and comfortable worlds of internet porn and video games. They are passive wanderers in life with no path or purpose. Based on the scope of this problem, it would not be far-fetched to say this is the primary neurosis of the modern age.

"With regard to the therapeutic effects of propranolol, it has been proposed that propranolols anxiolytic properties may result from its peripheral (autonomic) rather than its central activity (Balon et al., 1990; Clark, 1986; Roy-Byrne et al., 2006). This may explain the lack of evidence for propranolols efficacy in the long-term treatment of anxiety disorders other than panic disorder. To this end, it seems most likely that propranolol aids in breaking a vicious cycle of anxiety in which catastrophic misappraisal of bodily sensations of orthosympathetic origin, such as palpitations or increased ventilation, fuel the occurrence of panic attacks. This explanation is supported by research that found that subjects suffering from high levels of general trait anxiety improved little on propranolol (Becker, 1976; Kathol et al., 1980; Meibach et al., 1987; Wheatley, 1969), whereas more favourable effects were found in the treatment of performance anxieties, in which enhanced sensitivity for adrenergic hyperactivation may similarly initiate the fear response (Brantigan et al., 1982; Brewer, 1972; Clark and Agras, 1991; Drew et al., 1985; Elman et al., 1998; Stone et al., 1973)."

Interesting, so those with performance anxiety and panic attacks benefit greatly from beta blockers but those who have GAD won't get any help from it.

This kinda seems like the research you shouldve done for the OP haha

There doesn't seem to be any long term studies but beta blockers you don't build a tolerance to them so theoretically you could stay on the same dose for years

The Ohio gunman described himself on social media as a pro-Satan leftist who wanted Joe Bidens generation to die off, hated President Trump and law enforcement, and hoped to vote for Sen. Elizabeth Warren for president.
In the early hours of Sunday morning, rifle-wielding Connor Betts rampaged through a Dayton entertainment district, killing his sister and eight other people and leaving dozens of others wounded before police killed him.

I want socialism, and ill not wait for the idiots to finally come round to understanding, he wrote in one tweet, according to Heavy.com.
The breaking-news outlet said it had found Betts Twitter page (handle @iamthespookster) and verified that the account belonged to the gunman through multiple verification factors, including a matching tattoo on both a page selfie and prominent news outlets pictures of Connor Betts; several family linkages to the page; similar photos, including of him and the family dog, on the page and family members verified accounts; and references to college and growing up in Ohio and Dayton.

The Economy doing well doesn't automatically mean it is great for everyone, it can just mean the already wealthy are having a great run.

It reminds me of what happened to former WWE Champion Shawn Michaels who once earned a fortune annually but after a crippling near career ending back injury and a laundry list of other problems, forced him to earn less in the second half of his career. And years of taxes, charity donations, helping out his family/friends quickly started to add up.

He was in debt and had a family to support. So out of desperation had to crawl to the self-made millionaire JBL and became JBL's 'assistant' in order to feed his family and keep his head above water.

https://imgur.com/NV1OabX

The once great Michaels spent the next few months of his life having to carry JBL's bags, make his food, clean his home, interfere in his matches and do all sorts of degrading, humiliating things to make up the cash he needed.

http://www.wrestlingmedia.org/wv/01/15498/15498.jpg

And it was an extremely dark period of his life. Now imagine that instead of someone like Michaels who was an extraordinary man living an extraordinary life that lead into an extraordinary situation. You're an incredibly ordinary man early into his adult life who has talent and ability and the potential to grow into greatness but require building yourself up through your experience and negotiating skills to do so.

Wiping the latter off the table entirely and forcing those people to earn the same as everyone else and not thrive, will many force people long before their peaks into situations were they have little or no choice than to do things that they do not want to do in order to achieve and support their families.

Additional jobs, embarrassing demands, loans. You name it. You'll end up with people instead of one person, spending years instead of months, before they reached their peak instead of after it, doing degrading work instead of reaching their full potential. Or giving up entirely and just quitting on their dreams and passion.

You gotta believe that this is the situation we find ourselves in today. Sure men like JBL are on top of the world and as such the "economy" is doing well.

But the average man in the street? He is just looking for where the next paycheck is going to come from so he can take care of his family
