The adoptive family comes off as kind of skeevy for renaming the child though, idk.

I wouldn't say so, the infant was 11 months old.

Regardless, this is a fucking tragic case but the boy is over 5 years old at this point. Surrendering him to his biological mother would potentially cause him grief and confusion.

Suspended for the topic on that NYT article, i even expressed that is wrong to call the police when no crime was commited.

Hopefully the admin reads that and overturns it completely.

Hopefully the mod that suspended the account will read the topic next time as well.
