Like it all weighs on "evidence" of clocks being out of sync at different areas and velocities and such. So as we travel through space depending on our velocities and gravitational pulls we can age faster or slower.

This is absolute bullshit imo. Why hasn't anyone proposed the reason clocks are out of sync is because clocks are fucking mechanical and there's probably just a direct affect on how fast the ticks move based off environmental factors like velocity and gravity? You're going to tell me because these clocks are out of sync, my measurement of what one second is in my head on Earth is going to be different in a spaceship? That's absolute bullshit.

There hasn't been any direct proof time dilation is real, no more than that it isn't just an illusion or a catastrophic misunderstanding of how keeping measure of time works. Our bodies aren't going to age slower if we go into space. We're still going to deteriorate at the same pace. Everything is going to be the same pace.

Stop trying to excuse a man abandoning his child.

It's not his child

It literally is.

How is he literally the father

Do you solely base fatherhood on genetics?

You know what. You're right. The mother is a perfect angel and totally wasn't being selfish when she lied to her child saying a man that wasn't the father was the father, denying the child access to the real father. She was so selfless in getting another man to raise her baby instead of telling the truth. She totally didn't create more problems the longer she kept the lie up and traumatizing the child's mental state by setting up a situation where the child has trust issues for the rest of its life.

It's all the evil "father's" fault. Shouldn't have slept with a lying cheater! Now he's obligated to have the life he wanted replaced with financially taking care of a child of a woman he no longer trusts or has feelings for. He's obligated to be part of that child's life for life, because the mother is a saint and totally didn't create this bullshit in the first place.

Ugh.

Y'all understand that abandoning the child is further traumatizing to them, and that that action is completely on the father, right?

Getting cancer is traumatizing, but that doesn't mean getting a paper cut after isn't further traumatizing.

The one who cheats and lies to the child laid down the foundation for the traumatization. They are 100% behind everything that happens to that child. It's borderline child abuse and blaming the 2nd victim and demonizing them isn't going to change that.

Bullshit. The father is traumatizing the child and that is 100% on him.

Lmao. No it's not. The "father" wouldn't be in that situation if the mother didn't lie in the first place to him and to the child. And then the mother further manipulating the child when the dude justifiably leaves and making her seem like she was the good one and that he was a piece of shit. No I'm sorry, that's literal emotional child abuse.

TopicThere is no alien here on Earth
MichaelKaySeeYa
08/23/19 5:37:16 PM

The nearest habitable object from Earth is so far away that you would need to use a wormhole in order to get there, otherwise time would prevent any living thing from getting to us.

So there's three scenarios here.

1) An alien came here alive in his ship using a wormhole, the vast advancement in technology would have us a human race destroyed if we captured him and then his race came here to wreck havoc. This obviously didn't happen.

2) An alien crashed with his ship and died. Knowing what we know about how spacetime and relativity works, we would have used the materials in the ship to figure out warp speed by now. We haven't. So this hasn't happened either.

3) An alien ship blew up outside Earth and an alien came crashing into the atmosphere. He would have burned up making it impossible to identify regardless and probably wouldn't exist by the time it hit the surface anyway. So no alien discovery.

Face it guys. We've never been contacted by aliens and we most certainly don't have one hidden somewhere in Area 51 or some shit.

the same principle for politics. if one is truly interested, they'd be reasonably informed before hopping into a discussion.

This isn't as easy as you're making it. You can find any take you want on the internet. It's very hard to find credible sources for things you're not already well tuned on. It doesn't help you have companies like Google manipulating search results and countries like Russia manipulating Facebook and Twitter feeds. Finding information on the internet you know nothing about when it comes to politics is cancer.
