I haven't seen "pop out at you" 3d since Spy Kids 3d. Now it's always more like a window into a sort of 3d world.

most 3d movies feel very flat unless they're popping out, this one felt like it had real depth to it.

How was it in 120FPS?

I remember Hobbit looked funky at whatever FPS it had, I can't imagine with a 120FPS film would look like.

It looked really good, feel like it helped show the action scenes

It really felt like my eyes were the camera, outside of a few scenes that did have the fly at you 3d.

Looks absolutely amazing in 3d. And it's a fun and well shot action movie. The 3d in one of the few theaters capable of showcasing it fabulous. Like the screen is a cut out into a 3d space, instead of the usual lazy 3d that pops out at you
