Nobody was erased, but no amount of actual historical accuracy is going to change your mind on the subject so I'm not sure why I bothered.

Ok point to Palestine on a map and tell me again how their country wasnt erased? Youre arguing something false.

Im not in favor of a one state solution and I think the Palestinian leadership is disgusting before you go off on weird tangents about that again.

I know youre cranky that I proved you wrong in another topic (because you always pull this shit after youre proven wrong) but you can relax and take a deep breath instead of going off the deep end.

To point to a map and show that Palestine was erased you'd first have to show me an internationally recognized map that had a country of Palestine in the first place. Prior to the fall of the Ottoman Empire it was always a region, not a country. You're saying something that never existed was erased, and that's where you're being disingenuous or ill informed.

https://historynewsnetwork.org/article/139168
In fact, historically, there was never an independent country named Palestine. There was for a time a Roman province named Palestine, when the Romans bestowed that name in the second century A.D. on an area that was previously called Judea, and which had been sovereign for a time. Having defeated the Jews in what the ancient historian Josephus labeled the Jewish Wars, the Romans then expelled the Jews from Jerusalem and renamed the province after the Jews historic archenemy, the Philistines.

This province then became part of the Byzantine Empire and part of several different Muslim empires after that. For a brief stretch, part of the land fell into the hands of the Crusaders who called it The Latin Kingdom of Jerusalem. But under a thousand years of Muslim rule, Palestine never quite remained the same, having been subject to administrative adjustments over the years, with the name even falling into disuse for a period of time. In the last four hundred years of Ottoman rule, what was labeled Palestine changed over the centuries, as the territory was divided and sub-divided into separate entities. In the nineteenth century what we call historic Palestine today was actually divided into three different administrative entities.

So, the historical record says that Palestine was never a country, and was rarely ever an intact entity. At most it was a geographic entity like Scandinavia but, even as that, it changed over time.

They weren't, though.

Yes I understand that youre trolling and arent looking for an honest conversation

You realize that the Ottoman empire which collapsed at the end of the war was a secular nation consisting of both jews and muslims, right? And that the two state solution proposed when the empire collapsed was so that both peoples would have a nation since the former empire's boundaries no longer existed. And that it was Palestine that rejected the solution which would have given them full statehood at the very beginning.

Also, while we're at it, when the Ottoman empire was carved up, it created Syria, Iraq, Lebanon, Israel, Turkey, and Saudi Arabia. So why is it that of all those countries, only Israel is the one has questionable legitimacy?

EDIT:
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Two-state_solution#History_of_the_two-state_solution
The first proposal for the creation of Jewish and Arab states in the British Mandate of Palestine was made in the Peel Commission report of 1937, with the Mandate continuing to cover only a small area containing Jerusalem. The recommended partition proposal was rejected by the Arab community of Palestine,[8][9] and was accepted by most of the Jewish leadership.

Partition was again proposed by the 1947 UN Partition plan for the division of Palestine. It proposed a three-way division, again with Jerusalem held separately, under international control. The partition plan was accepted by the Jewish leadership. However, the plan was rejected by the leadership of Arab nations and the Palestinian leadership, which opposed any partition of Palestine and any independent Jewish presence in the area. The 1948 ArabIsraeli War for control of the disputed land broke out on the end of the British Mandate, which came to an end with the 1949 Armistice Agreements. The war resulted in the fleeing or expulsion of 711,000 Palestinians, which the Palestinians call Nakba, from the territories which became the state of Israel.[10]

If you dont, a lot of kids will never be prepared for adulthood. As much of a cliche as it is, I love teaching and I want all my students to be better prepared for adulthood when they leave my class.

I'll link to CNN although it's been reported by multiple outlets, if only to give her as much credit as possible in interpreting what she said and because they have the most complete set of quotes. Also note that she's an advocate of a one-state solution for the Israel/Palestine conflict, and I'm going to give her the benefit of the doubt here in that she doesn't know there were already Jews living in the region when Israel was made, and that it wasn't just created for European Jews fleeing the Holocaust.

https://www.cnn.com/2019/05/13/politics/rashida-tlaib-holocaust-comments/index.html
Speaking on an episode of Yahoo News' "Skullduggery" podcast that was released Friday, Tlaib was asked about her support for a one-state solution to the Israeli-Palestinian conflict. She began by noting the recent observance of Holocaust Remembrance Day before veering into the historic position of the state of Israel.

"There's kind of a calming feeling I always tell folks when I think of the Holocaust, and the tragedy of the Holocaust, and the fact that it was my ancestors, Palestinians, who lost their land and some lost their lives, their livelihood, their human dignity, their existence in many ways, have been wiped out, and some people's passports," Tlaib said.

She continued, "I mean, just all of it was in the name of trying to create a safe haven for Jews, post-the Holocaust, post-the tragedy and the horrific persecution of Jews across the world at that time, and I love the fact that it was my ancestors that provided that, right, in many ways. But they did it in a way that took their human dignity away, right, and it was forced on them. And so when I think about a one-state, I think about the fact that, why couldn't we do it in a better way?"

When asked whether advocating for a one-state solution could be seen as reckless, Tlaib replied, "No, I'm coming from a place of love, for equality and justice, I truly am."

"I want a safe haven for Jews," she added. "Who doesn't want to be safe? I am humbled by the fact that it was my ancestors that had to suffer for that to happen, but I will not turn my back and allow others to hijack it and say that it's some extremist approach because they're coming from a place of... whatever it is... of division, inequality."

Really, because they seem content with just letting Sonic Team run Sonic into the ground by themselves. For example, I heard Forces was so short that you could beat it and still get a refund on Steam, because you could still be below the 2 hour maximum time played on the game.

Im convinced Mania was a fluke. Otherwise we wouldve heard news about Mania 2 by now, and dev time that went into the Encore DLC was instead invested in the sequel.

The real sonic team was disbanded in the Sammy merger. They kept the name for branding purposes but the team was gutted.

I dont think Sega is in any financial trouble for games side of things. The only reason they posted a disappointing 2018 was that Pachinko had a 20% drop.

That sounds about right. After the Sega-Sammy merger, Pachinko is all that matters.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sega#Restructuring_(2015%E2%80%93present)
Following a 70% fall in profits for the 2018 fiscal year in comparison to the previous year, despite a 35% increase in the sale of console games and success in its PC game business, Sega announced that it would focus on releases for its existing intellectual property instead of new ones. Sega blamed the loss on miscalculations of the market and having too many games being developed. Projects in development at Sega include a new game in the Yakuza series, Persona 5 Scramble: The Phantom Strikers, the Sonic the Hedgehog movie, and the Sega Genesis Mini.[223] In 2019, Sega acquired Two Point Studios, known for its positively reviewed Two Point Hospital.[224][225]

It's fine. It established the way time works in this universe and they've been consistent with that outside of the one actual instance of shit writing: cap being back at the end of endgame and them having to explain it outside of the movie.

I'd say Loki is another inconsistency. The past did get altered because of their actions in that scenario, and in a way that can't be undone. Sure, it'll just lead to a "branch" of the timeline, but as it was explained it shouldn't have been possible for that to happen.

It was explained that doing so would destabilize the timeline. We know they're dealing with "reality quakes" on planets across the universe and that Loki is getting a Disney+ TV show, so I'd say the effects are thus far following exactly as outlined.

It also means that he looked into the future, saw that Tony was going to have a happy life and that he was going to have to die and sacrifice it to save everyone, and Strange was able to look him right in the face and tell Tony that he had a plan.

Strange established in the first movie that he would be willing to sacrifice anyone to save the realm, but now that endgame is over that scene has quite a bit more weight to it.

The problem is that the "solution" he's using, these dumb ass tariffs, are only making things more expensive for the United States.

China isn't paying the tariffs. American businesses are paying the tariffs and raising their prices to offset the cost, which makes things more expensive for us as consumers.

If that's true, and China is matching every one of our tariffs with tariffs of their own, which is also true, then isn't China suffering the same amount because of their retaliatory tariffs? Or is this one of those weird situations where when we add tariffs we pay, and when they add tariffs we also somehow pay?

It seems more complicated in this case. Not only is he saying it is illegal to fire those striking workers, but if I'm reading correctly he attempted to liquidate his company instead to recover as many assets as possible without having to go through a massive set of court cases with the union, and then Union seemed to somehow get his liquidated company reinstated so that they can hit him with 20-plus lawsuits to basically suck him dry of every dollar he has.

Looks like the numbers can be spun to benefit either side of the argument. It's clear which side this article is on.

How will this benefit HUD/low income families?

I'm pretty sure the idea is that by reducing funds to illegal residents, more will be available to others who need the aid.

Read the entire article and youll see how this policy will be detrimental to HUD and low income families.

Alternatively, stop trolling.

Housing advocates doubt that families now waiting for aid would benefit. And the HUD analysis seem to back that up. It notes that mixed families generally get lower subsidies and would likely be replaced with families who need higher subsidies. "The average income of a mixed household is $18,000," the analysis says, "and the average income of a nonmixed household is $14,000; the difference is $4,000. On average, the subsidy would increase by 30 percent of the decline in household income, or $1,200."

The article doesn't claim it will hurt other low-income earners. It claims that it will cost the government more because the increase in subsidies to the low-income people who are currently not getting coverage would go up. Because for some reason the average income for low income families is lower when both of them are legal citizens.

The analysis literally claims that those mixed families will likely be replaced by non mixed families who need even more support, which is kind of the point being made by people in this topic.

Supposedly the original Ultron cut was a much darker film, and executive meddling cause them to go in and lighten it up and add more quips. It's the reason why that trailer is so much darker than the tone of the rest of the movie.

Dark Schneider, of the series Bastard!!!, which was more or less explicitly designed to be the most broken character ever. Powers include:
--immunity from being erased from existence
--immunity from being killed in the past
--the ability to move thousands of times the speed of light
--can will himself back to life
--200 shields that regenerate instantly and each is 100% resistant to a different element/effect, meaning to even HIT him you basically have to attack him instantly with every force/element known at once. Even a slight delay will cause his shields to regenerate.
--Plus a bunch of bullshit attacks like a fireball made of acid that erases shit from existence and other things I forget.

Wtf lmao. That's insane.

It's just goofy with how over the top it is. Some more highlights:
https://topstrongest.fandom.com/wiki/Dark_Schneider
--Fire Manipulation that exceeds 1,000,000C (the sun is about 55,000C)
--Ice/Cold manipulation down to Absolute Zero
--A power negation field that nullifies all powers in its radius
--so much power that it can break dimensions just by clashing with equal power ("Abigail stated would require force roughly on par with the big bang to force open and he was compared to the Christian God in his Adam of Darkness form")
--Black Sabbath: A localized, magical nuke. The target is caught in a spellbound, falls victim to a blast reaching many millions of degrees Celsius, and is then sent into another dimension. Without control, it's a spell that could potentially destroy the world.
--Eternal Atoms: Reconstruction ability on the atomic level. In order to completely kill someone with Eternal atoms you have to be able to destroy them on a physical, spiritual, and astral level simultaneously. Also, these eternal atoms resides on 3 different planes of existence (physical, spiritual, and astral) Aka different dimensions,so you have to be able to attack cross-dimensional if you want to attack him. Last but not the least, these eternal atoms are protected by Dispel bounds
--Dispel Bound: Dispel Bound surround his entire body protecting him from every type of attack. They are capable of shielding from probability manipulation, reality warping, instant victory,Mind manipulation, magic, punches, energy blasts and many other haxes. Furthermore if that's not enough - these same shields also regenerate themselves at FTL speed.

In fact he literally said "Collusion is not a specific offense or theory of liability found in the United States Code, nor is it a term of art in federal criminal law,

"There is no such clear cut crime as 'Collusion'" and "There was no collusion" are not the same statement dude.

You're hyper focusing on the choice of the word collusion, but the conclusion of the report (as stated by Mueller's full quotes from the report not Barr's summary) are functionally the same.
What he literally said was:
In evaluating whether evidence about collective action of multiple individuals constituted a crime, we applied the framework of conspiracy law, not the concept of collusion. In so doing, the Office recognized that the word collud[e] was used in communications with the Acting Attorney General confirming certain aspects of the investigations scope and that the term has frequently been invoked in public reporting about the investigation. But collusion is not a specific offense or theory of liability found in the United States Code, nor is it a term of art in federal criminal law. For those reasons, the Offices focus in analyzing questions of joint criminal liability was on conspiracy as defined in federal law.

He also said this:
Although the investigation established that the Russian government perceived it would benefit from a Trump presidency and worked to secure that outcome, and that the Campaign expected it would benefit electorally from information stolen and released through Russian efforts, the investigation did not establish that members of the Trump Campaign conspired or coordinated with the Russian government in its election interference activities.

So use whatever words you personally want to use: Do you believe the Mueller report was inconclusive with regard to Trump and Russia's direct interactions with regard to the election?

I will never understand people who convince themselves it's more acceptable to be trans than gay.

I don't know how true these studies are (I am 100% certain if they're not accurate someone on CE will correct me), but if they're accurate the majority of trans kids end up just being regular gay people when they grow up:
http://www.sexologytoday.org/2016/01/do-trans-kids-stay-trans-when-they-grow_99.html?m=1
In total, there have been three large scale follow-up studies and a handful of smaller ones. I have listed all of them below, together with their results. (In the table, cis- means non-transsexual.) Despite the differences in country, culture, decade, and follow-up length and method, all the studies have come to a remarkably similar conclusion: Only very few trans- kids still want to transition by the time they are adults. Instead, they generally turn out to be regular gay or lesbian folks. The exact number varies by study, but roughly 6090% of trans- kids turn out no longer to be trans by adulthood.

Being trans and gay have nothing to do with each other. I have a trans friend who still prefers women but always felt like she was a woman. And I have a gay friend who was going to dress as a woman for his wedding, but his husband got pissed and said I'm attracted to men, why would I want you to dress as a woman?

The TC literally pretended to be trans because he was uncomfortable addressing his gayness.

1. You've not read the Muller report.

Neither have you, but that doesn't stop you and others from arguing that even though in MUELLER'S OWN WORDS there was no collusion, that somehow there must be collusion, and that smoking gun you were hoping for must be in his tax returns. That somehow these "blatant financial ties" paint some crystal clear picture that Mueller must have missed when he spend the last couple of years investigating all of this. Mueller must be pretty incompetent to come to the conclusion he did when you are so very confident in your own conclusion.

It makes it all the more impressive that big name actors can show up on set for like 3 days for a movie that spends 2 years in production, shoot everything in whatever arbitrary order fits the schedule with other actors they might not even know, and from all that produce cohesive character arcs.

So what's the next big thing going to be for taking down Trump? The report was supposed to be it, but now it's the hope that maybe his tax returns are hiding something the report didn't find. When that isn't it either, what will people turn to next?

The other 14 weird as fuck possibly illegal shit Trump has done.

This is a weird defense. It's a very lazy dismissal of valid criticisms and potential issues.

Oh don't get me wrong, I'm sure there will be plenty of valid criticisms of his ability to run a business and how much he's really worth versus what he claims he's worth. HOWEVER, let's not pretend this sudden re-focus on taxes after nearly 2 years of almost no mention of them has nothing to do with the fact that the mueller report failed to drudge up sufficiently damning evidence to prove that he colluded with Russia. The very fact that posters in this topic are outlining the play for how they're hoping to tie his finances to the Russian government to weave some sort of narrative is proof of it. The issue isn't finding things to criticize... it's digging desperately for a smoking gun.
