I tried to get into comics a few times but I always bounce off pretty quicklyI've just been looking for anything that doesn't feel too conventional. So plenty of Alan Moore, From Hell is my favourite but it's a real long read. Sandman, The Invisibles, just started reading the Clive Barker written Hellraiser series. Alejandro Jodorowsky's Incal series is really good, stunning art and not really like anything else around. The only superhero thing I really got into was the first Moon Knight series from the 80s, the writing is really good. For regular books I've been reading William S. Burroughs, Dennis Cooper, Kathy Acker and some classic erotica. |
