sometimes repeating that to myself calms me a bit, sometimes it just makes me think "oh great i already expect the bare minimum, how much lower can i go"

so in short i really don't have anything to say other than i can relate and it's a sucky issue to have.

Yeah I feel all of that. When my friends are too fucking stupid to do basic shit right (or just listen to me before fucking up) I sit there wondering how much I need to hold their hands for absolutely nonsense.

And its stupid because I have great friends who would literally hold my hand while I do something stupid if I needed them to.

Part of it is definitely the fact that Im willing to ask for their help but I feel like my help is almost always rejected. And then when that causes things to go poorly, Im ripshit.

Like now if Im mad at all she just stops talking to me because she doesnt like me when Im mad. Which of course makes everything worse because it means she ignores what Im mad about until Im extra angry.

the anxiety was always gonna be easy to get rid of since i knew the exact source. 8 years ago i was constantly super anxious but learned how not to be in my first couple years with my doc. it came back in force from my new job, so i knew once i stepped down from this new job the anxiety would go away. im still working it but management has agreed to let me return to my old desk

well it's something i always say i wanna address but never bring up with my therapist. now that my general day-to-day anxiety is abating i can remember the things i wanted to bring up with him. i know he's gonna relate all this to my tornado of a relationship a few years ago, maybe that's why i dont bring it up

Yeah sometimes thats the worst part about the biggest issues. It can take a lot of painful emotional work to get through. And thats awesome that youre already getting through anxiety issues, Im sure it aint perfect yet but its great when you can actually feel the progress.
