No one should be punished without sufficient evidence. If someone is found to be guilty they should be punished harshly. If someone is found to be lying they should likewise be punished harshly. The reason murder is wrong is because you are taking life away from someone that is aware of their existence. They actually care about living and you don't have the right to take that away.
