AngelsNAirwav3s 08/07/19 5:44:37 PM #12	Ultimate has modes similar to Classic and Event Mode in Melee, but you are probably looking for something like the World of Light mode from Ultimate. It is like a combination of Melee's Adventure Mode and SSE I would say. It is basically an enormous game board, where you start off with only Kirby, and go around unlocking different areas, characters, spirits (which are basically character boosts), and leveling up your skill tree. At every space on the game board, you have a battle similar to Event Mode from Melee, where you have to beat all sorts of different characters with different power ups and level conditions. It is looooong though, 20 or 30 hours to complete. Here is the trailer: Overall Ultimate brought back a lot of the gameplay mechanics from Melee, but have all the characters from all the games and more, I really enjoy it --- Hello world!

The only good version of his recovery takes about 20 mana, meaning you can easily screw yourself over by using a B move and then not having enough mana to recover off the edge. Its also mostly vertical, meaning he's dead as quickly as a Ganon, Cloud, or Little Mac is off stage. The kill potential of his crits looks crazy, though. In the video a fully charged crit side smash killed at 0% (although a player would have just barely survived, for some characters with bad recovery it's still a KO). The command menu is going to get punished HARD by anyone not currently trying to get back on stage, which also means the hero player will have to decide on whether to punish off stage or allow a recovery in exchange for a command, and if they prime something like bounce they're SOL in terms of using other commands for the full duration. Thwack randomly killing an opponent is going to cause some epic tournament salt, though. That and the fact that his aerial 2A spikes without a delay like many other characters. Otherwise, it looks like he has a ton of utility but in exchange his recovery sucks and the player has only moderate control over what tools are actually avaliable at any moment, and against fast characters you shouldn't underestimate the time it takes to use command, look at the totally random list, potentially scroll down 3 or 4 rows for the ability you want, and then select it. Depending how fast you can cycle through the down special moves will be crucial in how good he is, with a heal, huge speed boost, attack boost, instant automatic recovery, potential OHKO move, down special could be insanely broken if it is really quick to cycle through --- Hello world!
