Emma freaks out about the wound, for whatever the reason, which is pretty suspicious. I also found the bonus sidequest and was victimized by Vivi's prank. Aced that second practical exam, but the other group struggled to get by. With the next field study, I get to team up with everyone I haven't used yet (and Machias, but that was pretty brief), and we're off to Bareahard, nicknamed the Verdant City. I'd guess the tensions between Jusis and Machias will finally come to a head here and Rean will have to find a way to be the mediator. oh and Sara curbstomped me for the lulz while she was at it not cool --- |

Saving and loading is pretty quick though if you're like me and you like to save scum dialogue choices to avoid taking penalties. You don't have to go back to the main menu to load anymore. It's in the options menu. --- |

I know some people were complaining about that before since those translations were already done, so why not include them? This is one of the few games where the default level for sound effects and music is perfect. I normally immediately set them to max in any game, and it was too loud. And I had to go max transparency for text boxes right away, too. Not being able to see through them at all was throwing me off. It's nice having 10 separate save slots, so I can use them for my favorite moments in the series, which I used to do all the time when I was a teenager. One of my PS1 memory cards was entirely filled up with FFVII, FFVIII, and FFIX saves. And none of the trophies are hidden, which is nice, so I can keep track of which one I need to look for in each case. I got the extra trophy for 1-1 for saying the defendant is Mia Fey. --- |
