Without switching turtles, I can beat the dam by the skin of my teeth.

The really cheap part of the game is that they don't refill your health after completing a stage. You just need to have turtles in reserve who are well and can scout out health-replenishing pizzas for the wounded. It's unnecessary and it turns the game into a war of attrition.

Also, that final hallway just before Shredder is impossible.

I think the internet enables people.

In the 90s, if the sight of a white woman with a black man bothered you, you kept it to yourself or shared it with a confidant whom you trusted not to lose face in you. Today, people with such mindsets go online and share their unwarranted opinions anonymously. They also feel reaffirmed in knowing that there are others who feel the same way.

I hate to say it, but I think that we as a society got the internet before we were ready for it.

It kinda makes me think of superhero movies. People get mad whenever a woman isn't the hottest because she's canonically supposed to be beautiful, but that wears thin when *everyone* is beautiful.

It makes sense for Ada Wong to be the sexy one because it was part of her job as a spy to seduce dudes and get information. I don't remember characters commenting on how hot Jill was. I don't remember it ever factoring into the story that she was sexy. I do recall her role as a STARS agent being important.

But, honestly, her ability as a soldier is more important than how hot she is. Ada Wong is the hot one of the series.

Missing out? Sorry. But that sounds all sorts of entitled. People have this thing called free will. If they like you but won't date you it's not the end of the world. Simply move on and find somebody else and keep doing so until you find somebody who shares the same feelings mutually.

And people don't always use their free will to its fullest potential. I miss out on a lot of things for petty reasons and I'm comfortable with that.

You're comfortable with not dating certain people and nobody's forcing you to. But, just for the record, you are missing out on some great potential partners.

It's a shitty ending. It should have ended with the kid having to live with the responsibility of summoning the demon that killed his family. The whole "the family is now trapped in a snowglobe" ending was shit. The problem isn't that it's downbeat. It's that it's kitschy. It's as tacky as an aluminum Christmas tree.

But the movie before that was so good that a minor hiccup at the end doesn't really hurt it. It's not a like a twist ending that changes the outcome in the closing seconds. We never had any doubts about who had won the primary conflict. It just expands upon the established ending in a way that doesn't really benefit the film.

If a twist doesn't make you say, "Woah! That was awesome," it doesn't need to be.

Krampus is one of the few films to survive a bad twist at the end. It's still entertaining the whole way through.

In general, twist endings in horror movies are pretty played out. Most of them, Krampus included, feel like they're tacked on out of sheer protocol. At this point, we're conditioned to expect a surprise ending. That makes it about as much of a surprise as a Jack-in-the-Box popping out.

I mean, future years are okay too. Like, Death Race 2000 was made well before the year 2000.

But to use a year that's already come and gone? I'd make sense if they were adapting 1984. The government lying about what year it is and people eating it up is absolutely the kind of thing that happened in that novel. But it's weird to make "Wonder Woman 1984" in Current Year of 2019.

They say four rides is a success if you go to Disney World just before Christmas. I've heard that Universal is a bit better, but I haven't heard any specifics on wait times or what to expect. Splash Mountain or Jurassic Park, I will ride a fucking water ride at 40 degrees if it means not having to wait in line for it.
