Once the purchase has been completed that temporary charge gets refunded. Could this possibly be what you're seeing happen? Yeah I think that's what my CC company tried to explain to me. Visa and Mastercard I know for a fact do not allow ANYONE who they work with to charge a fee or minimum purchase. I'm gonna give this a shot. SunWuKung420 posted... Every vending machine I've seen that accepts cards has a fee for using the card. Merchant service fees are a pain in the ass. I can understand a small fee but sheesh $1.50?? But I thought people irl always get trapped in rooms where there's a note under the floorboard written in all lowercase letters except for five random uppercase letters that must be arranged to form a word that gets inputted into the combination lock. At one point, we had to press these two red buttons that were in different rooms at the same time to get a painting to swing open. There were a few other team puzzles like that, too. But definitely get a team together and give it a shot! ASlaveObeys posted... went to a Sherlock themed one a few months back. We escaped and saved the world from a bioweapon or something. Unfortunately, we were 'killed'...but it was a lot of fun and the 'a-ha!' moments were satisfying. I don't know a definite fix but when I unplug and plug the hardrive like five times, it usually starts working again.
