I really like being able to avoid random pokemon encounters, personally. I havent played a pokemon game since Diamond and Pearl though

I havent played since BW2 and I completely enjoy the new encounter mechanics

As someone who did not like sun and moon (and never finished it) and completely skipped Ultra Sun and Ultra Moon, I love Sword. Most fun I have had playing Pokmon in awhile

A spoiler is what happens when you are exposed to a storyline prior to experiencing the story yourself. Just because marketing chooses to show/tell part of the story in order to hype audiences up, doesn't change the fact they are spoiling it.
