I find a LOT can depend on little things like hydration, outside stress and even what the booze was (not the ABV the actual kind of booze in general). I've been down this road before, and it's not pretty. usually results in other substance abuse i'm just shocked at how quickly tolerance builds up. i drank on and off at work, and a 40 of Steel Reserve would knock me on my ass and make me sweat profusely. Now I'm crushing fifths and walking it off. |

| treewojima 05/26/19 11:09:44 PM #4 | like, i gauged it by how far into this movie (Tropic Thunder) that i got, which clocks in at just over 2 hours. i'm at 1hr 15m, and that is including breaks to go get food or go to the bathroom, so maybe an extra 15 mintutes during that time, i CRUSHED a fifth. just took another leak and i'm a bit wobbly but not even swaying back and forth. fuck my tolerance has increased exponentially |

The receiver is an Onkyo DTR-7.2; it unfortunately doesn't have any HDMI ports but it does have digital fiber inputs. I don't have a whole lot of things to hook into it, just an Xbox One and maybe my computer. Subwoofer is a Paradigm PDR-10 and looks to be decent. Don't know much about hifi equipment, but I figure even this will sound amazing compared to my built-in TV speakers She got everything for $50 at a yard sale a few years back, which seems like a total steal lol |
