He claims to have some urgent information for sale. You glance at Kirk, who thinks about it for a second and nods. Wario is far from the most trustworthy guy you've ever met, but even if he is scamming you, you have plenty of funding to spare from the Prospitian treasury. You idly wonder if he's planning to just hang out here after the war? It seems to suit him, being the king of an empty world. Anyway, Kirk agrees to Wario's terms. Wario informs you that Team Archer has been hiring assassins, with the intent to neutralize you before the final battle! Archer wouldn't do that to you....would she? Kirk seems to think so, but he looks to you for input.

1) Archer wouldn't go along with that plan!
2) It could happen.....
3) We need to double down on security immediately!

I am not really super hung up on Hogan so if you have a big enough problem with him, or if multiple people have a bit of a problem, I don't super mind scrapping him and adding somebody else. It actually doesn't matter what you do with your slot probably- I have one sub lined up if Hogan gets the boot and a different one for if you don't have an idea, so those are independent factors since I'm trying to kinda keep an evenish split of faces vs heels, and of current wrestlers vs. retired ones vs. video game characters vs. other characters.

If you wanna weigh in and don't wanna go through *all* the spoilers, the question is how y'all would feel about having Hogan in this thing

And with that, the next cycle is one of my personal favorites....LETHAL LOTTERY. The B8WL version is going to be even more complicated than most! Next week, six randomly formed tag teams will face off in the first round. However, in addition to the three teams that come out on top there, we'll have a fourth team! This will be made from the winners of a special champions-only fourway match (so Mario v. Bang v. Sultan v. Bryan, taking them out of the general pool) and of a battle royal with everybody left over. Everybody's got a chance, and if a champion wins their way to the finals, they won't have to defend at the PPV!

It's also time to bring some fresh faces in and shake up the roster, so look for five* new challengers to make waves in this tournament! We don't want to spoil the surprise** so we're only announcing one of the three tag matches ahead of time....the sibling bonds of @Eddv and @eaedwards6400 will be tested against the unlikely team of R-Truth and @MajinZidane !

*well one of them is CPU's slot and IDK what he's doing with it so maybe it's technically four

-ECHO's chest plate has been struck by a mysterious attacker. No essential parts have been damaged due to the strength of ECHO's exoskeleton, but annoying cosmetic repairs will be needed at a later time.

-UCA TITLE EXILE CHALLENGE: Champion Bangladesh DuPree v. ECHO
We open with chain wrestling of all things, and Bang comes out on top, taking advantage of her position for a bit of ground 'n' pound. Bang gets bored of that and bounces ECHO's head off the mat. Big slam on ECHO. Rough night for them, and could get much rougher soon. Boot to the head, then a DDT. Ref calls for a break, but Bang gets a cheap shot in first. Big piledriver! 1....2.....3!

-Bang laughs, as ECHO leaves in a fashion that I have a gut feeling CPU will want to retcon.

Kora tackles Mario out of the ring, and takes the bump a bit better. He pulls Mario up by his hair to roll him back into the ring. Test of strength- Kora comes out on top and then hits a backbreaker. Mario gets back in the game with a Mario Tornado. Mario gets Kora up....big leaping DDT! 1......2......3!

Show 2-3: Exile

-@davidponte kicks us off, welcoming Elend Venture as his first of two guests. They have a nice little chat about the events of Mistborn, but they are interrupted by @TheSultanOfSlam , david's other guest for the evening. Sultan doesn't see why david is wasting his time on this little twiggy man- Sultan could easily break his back and make him humble! And Sultan already beat david for this Hardcore title, so really they can both get out of his ring and go to the hell! Elend cuts Sultan off- he's not about to be lectured by somebody who governs a small territory that nobody even is sure exists, and who can't even string together a proper sentence! Sultan might be surprised by Elend in a fight too, so he'd better focus on his defense against the Rock before he finds himself in a very hard place.

-Mariel Gullwhacker knows a thing or two about being underestimated. She is little, but she's a fierce warrior....and @eaedwards6400 has that same warrior's spirit. He's gonna prove himself tonight!

-GRUDGE MATCH: Ric Flair v. eaedwards6400
Eaed got a big win last week, but can he prove it wasn't a fluke by taking out his rival here? Maybe not, as he falls for an eye poke immediately, followed immediately by a low blow. And a hair pull. The ref finally wakes up, and Eaed tries an ill-advised springboard crossbody, landing a little off but knocking down Flair anyway. Flair rolls through and gets a Sharpshooter in for a second or two. The ref misses Eaed's hand on the ropes, so the Time Cops graciously point it out. Flair hits another low blow while the ref and Cops sort things out....and then slaps on the Figure Four! Eaed taps!
WINNER: Flair

-The lights go out! When they come on, Eaed has LOSER sharpied on his face.

-Cena is looking forward to taking down @XIII_rocks , in a box away from all his little minions!

-ROCKS IN A BOX: John Cena v. XIII_rocks
It's pretty much a cage match with a roof and some fairly big rocks in the corners. XIII bum rushes Cena while the ref is checking him over- the RNG today really likes testing for Cheat. Cena weathers the rain of blows okay, but gets chucked into the wall and takes that a bit worse. Cena wobbles over to the ropes, and hits a Springboard Stunner out of nowhere! Bit of a possum move there. XIII goes down, but comes up with a rock and blasts Cena with it so hard that the rock goes flying through the cage wall. Cena tries to possum again, but is too out of it- he tries a cheeky STF when XIII tries to pick him up, but can't get it locked in. XIII stands up out of it, and falls backwards on a pointy rock, with Cena still on his back! Cena is hurt pretty dang bad, but collects himself enough to whip XIII into the cage wall. Cena's too hurt to follow up, though, and gets the dreaded CLOSED FIST from XIII. Cena smacks XIII with one of the rocks. @ScareChan wants to help out his buddy, but the ref shoes him away as he struggles to climb the cage. Instead, Cena just kicks XIII in the head a couple times. A woozy XIII pantses Cena, causing a momentary distraction and lots of happy fangirls. Cena just gives him a suplex before fixing himself and delivering a back kick for good measure. Cena's getting a bit too cocky, though, and XIII recovers to get him in a full nelson. Cena powers out, but XIII drops a rock on his foot. Cena kicks the rock at XIII"s head! XIII can't see him! DDT....and an AA! 1....2....3!

-Cena cuts an unusually incoherent promo talking about the Revolutionary War, probably. And failing geology in high school.

-Bryan has lodged a formal protest with the commissioner's office, ensuring that there will be no funny business from Cueto! Probably.

-MASTERY OF TAYBLES EXILE CHALLENGE: Champion @Eddv v. Daniel Bryan
Caelus gets in Bryan's face from ringside. The ref admonishes him while Eddv hits Bryan from behind, and gets in a little choking action. Bryan rushes Eddv after the hold is released, scoring a surprise dropkick, followed by a spinning kick to his downed opponent. Eddv catches a crossbody, and slams Bryan down, but Bryan trips him. Caelus runs in, but Bryan just tosses him out, followed by the champion! Bryan tosses Eddv around ringside a bit, but Eddv has had enough, and roars to life! He charges...straight into a toe hold. And a bulldog as he tries to get up. Eddv clears his head and shoves Bryan into the apron, but Bryan retaliates with a sidewalk slam and a big boot. Bryan finally starts setting up a table....allowing Eddv time to find a chair and blast him from behind! Bryan wrests the chair away, but then whiffs the Knee Plus. Caelus has had a few too many SHOTS and is wandering around babbling at nobody related to the match, so Eddv just chucks Bryan into him. Eddv informs Bryan that even if he survives tonight, he's still gotta deal with the MLMF! Bryan hulks up....and spinebusters Eddv through the tayble!
Winner and NEW Master of Taybles: Bryan

-Eddv recovers slightly, and announces that taybles are stupid anyway. He'd beat Bryan in a REAL match! Bryan highly doubts that, and welcomes a challenge at any time. For now though, he's broken the Exile curse!

-The Rock has been called foolish. He's been called desperate. He's been called Cena's sidekick. But The Rock means business, and after tonight...they're going to call him the People's Hardcore Champion.

-HARDCORE EXILE CHALLENGE: Champion @TheSultanOfSlam v. The Rock
Rock keeps his distance to start off, whipping Sultan up into a frenzy. This seems smart until Sultan catches him and whips him into the announce table, then into the ring steps. Rock comes up with a chair, and uses it to shield himself from Sultan's charging attack, before just hitting him with it. Sultan doesn't much like that, and digs under the ring for a screwdriver to jab into Rock's forehead! Rock stumbles around a bit, but it's gonna take more than that. Rock tackles Sultan onto a wheelchair. Rock sets up to wheel Sultan somewhere....but Sultan stands up and stunners him onto the chair! Elbow drop for good measure. Sultan's getting in his groove now, and hits a running kick. Sultan press slams Rock into a spotlight! Geeze. He goes for the Camel Clutch right there on the glass, but Rock escapes somehow. Sultan is getting annoyed, and drops Rock on his head. Sultan tries to make a point with a test of strength....but Rock overcomes with FIGHTING SPIRIT. Rock gets Sultan in a Sharpshooter, but Sultan p

You put out some feelers and poke around- making good use of Prospit's network now that Kirk is the King and in his right mind. You are able to confirm the deaths of Team Saber and Team Berserker. If this is a completely standard Grail War, that leaves you and Archer as the last two teams. The day before you're supposed to have your showdown with Archer, you're approached by a particularly stocky fellow. .....It's Wario, in disguise!

Specs are not great but I'm not super into many highly technically demanding games, so it shouldn't be a big deal. Just don't get me something I can't play on a trackpad. Wishlist is vaguely in order, especially towards the top.

With a Petal Burst-assisted speed boost, you manage to snag the severed finger before Team Archer even notices. Gross, but necessary. You implore Team Archer to delay this fight, but Erika isn't interested. Archer isn't much more interested in fighting you than the other way around, so she asks Erika to reconsider. After a discussion, they come to the conclusion that they should grant your request- Erika isn't a MONSTER, despite what she did to Violet. They'll give you three days, and if nothing comes up, you'll meet at this spot for a climactic showdown. Kirk is more than happy to come back to this when he has had a chance to heal a bit.

Okay, so what's the plan?
1) Just get ready to give them your best fair fight!
2) Recon to figure out who else is left (if anybody?)
3) Check in on Wario
4) No-show the fight
5) You can probably handle the ring better than the last two owners, right?

Three-Body: Alrighty took me a bit but after the VR segment I'm invested. Kinda gives me a VN vibe.

BTE 64-65: some good installments of the running gags today! IT'S THE CODY LISTENING GIF! And Flip Gordon is getting a push! And a buncha cameos! But we got a C&D on FTR D:

Higurashi: Immediately suspicious of Mom Sonozaki getting a sprite immediately when Oryou and the Maebara parents still haven't appeared. She cute tho. Touch the untouchable. I kinda thought for a sec we were gonna hear somebody say that maybe it would be nice if Teppei had an accident, but instead we went all ROW ROW FIGHT THE POWER. Works for me! Things are going north suspiciously quickly, man. This ain't no episode 8 to be wrapping everything up nicely! I missed the last box of Rika's monologue by mistake and the Log doesn't cover it because it's not a text box T_T

I'm on ep7 and I don't want to google things because spoilers

it's like all drums (mostly a tom) and some reverby synthy piano chords. I don't THINK it was in prior episodes but it's popped up a lot in this one usually when things are looking up in the Satoko case

You gotta follow your heart and your conscience. You're not sure Erika would be a much better winner than Kirk Noir, but it's worth a shot. Best case scenario maybe you can cut off his ring finger and get him back to normal! Actually....Kirk Noir is prepping Red Miles! That involves raising his hand, and.....you slice through his finger, severing it cleanly and removing the ring's power and influence. Kirk transforms into his normal self, slumping slightly and looking around disoriented. You have a split second to react before everybody else processes what's going on.

Eaed is desperate to prove himself, and to settle the score with Flair after a few ambiguous outings. Can the kid make himself famous at the veteran's expense, or will Flair style and profile his way to another PPV win?

ROCKS IN A BOX: Cena v. XIII
The blood feud continues, now with no titles to complicate things and a (cosmetically) new match type!

MoT Eddv v. Career Bryan
Bryan has had his runins with MLMF over the years, and with Cueto's involvement and the Exile stip, things will come to a head here!

HC Sultan v. Career Rock
Rock called the B8WL a bunch of jabronis for not having the guts to take part in Exile. He guesses he'll have to be the one to layeth the smacketh down on the biggest jabroni champ of them all!

UCA Bang v. Career ECHO
Bang has had ECHO's number fairly consistently throughout this feud. Has ECHO been backed into a corner, or is the eccentric android just biding their time?

B8WL Kora v. Career Mario
Mario has made the bold move to wager his career for the biggest prize of them all! He was on a real tear before his injury, but will his struggles at winning big matches bring an end to his run?

Show 2-2

-Bowser is in the ring to host Dario Cueto. Cueto starts by railing against Panth for a bit, before creepy music and lights cut him off! Is this our mysterious interloper again? There's a bunch of hoopla, but nothing really happens, and Cueto grabs the mic. Whoever's been screwing with his show and his talent, they've done a good job, but he's not going to let them continue! B8WL isn't gonna be kicked around by somebody who can't even show their face!

-Cueto is backstage with @eaedwards6400 . Eaed has really been on a cold streak lately, but the fans are behind him nonetheless. Everybody loves a good underdog, right? That's why Cueto is going to keep putting Eaed in matches he'll never win!

-Match: Eaed v. King @Maniac64
Maniac has already made short work of his former partner, so this does indeed look like it'll be another long night fo-ROLLUP! 1.....2.....3!
Winner: Eaed

-Eaed is tired of being told he's a loser! A few weeks ago, he fought Flair to a double DQ, and last week, Flair needed cheap shots and chair shots to beat him! Eaed wants one more shot at him!

-Miz is backstage, thinking about the world title picture. He's gotta find somebody that can stop those underhanded Knights Radiant before they kill the ratings!

-Match: @Strife2 and @MajinZidane v. Knights Radiant (B8WL Champ @Korayashi and Zangief)
This went poorly for the faces last week, but will removing Maniac and David change the dynamic? It looks like it, as Boko and Strife somehow manage to gel as a team and control the opening portions. Tags are made in and out, but Boko goes to the well one too many times, gets a massive powerbomb from Zangief, and that's it.
Winners: Zangief and Kora

-Man, Kora didn't even have to tag in that match! Afterwards, YMD's music hits, and out comes M. Bison! He is as impressed as ever with Zangief's power. He proposes that YMD and the Knights stay out of each other's way, and with their combined power, can carve up B8WL between them and rule in harmony. Think about it. Zangief seems for it, at least.

-Match: Rock v. Flair
It's Rock's first match since being taken out by injury, and it's against the man that put him on the shelf! Fans are fired up, and so is Rocky. It's a back and forth brawl, spilling in and out of the ring. Rock catches Flair with the Sharpshooter! With all of Flair's technical skill, he's trapped in the middle of the ring, and none of his tricks are working.....he has no choice but to tap!
Winner: Rock

-Flair cuts an angry promo, but is interrupted by Rock advising to practice silence and self-awareness. This does not improve the vet's mood.

-Match: Cena and ECHO v. YMD (UCA Champ Bang and @XIII_rocks )
YMD tries to bumrush Cena while he works the crowd, but are stopped by Rock and @ScareChan (and ECHO actually bothering to pay attention). ECHO runs into a spot of difficulty as they get out-cheated by their nemesis Bang, but a hot tag to Cena and the ref eventually waking up halts YMD's momentum. After a bit more back-and-forth, it comes back around to Bang v. ECHO, and Bang just plain seems to have the android's number. ECHO fights valiantly, but XIII is a lot quicker to interject himself than Cena, and soon the heel team puts away the ragtag faces. Rock pats Cena on the back as they disperse.
Winners: Bang and XIII

-Panth (who doesn't show up in the tags anymore D:) and Bryan are feeling good about their match tonight! Instead of the skeezy Cueto running the show, their match has a special guest referee, who is.....awesome! Wait no not like that though.

((....d'you think I should put Panth in one of the title/career matches? If he's not on B8 and has admitted to not really following much these days and it would fit his arc and we're short on logical non-B8 contenders......hm.))

-Match: Bryan and Panth v. MLMF (Truth and Ludwig)
Special referee: Lift (Stormlight Chronicles)
Panth hits a suicide dive on MLMF before they get to the ring. Lift decides that eh, if they can't even get to the ring, they probably shouldn't be fighting!
Winners by ridiculous DQ: Panth/Bryan

-MLMF are absolutely incensed, and actually kinda have a right to be for once! This isn't over!

-John Peters (you know, the farmer) is backstage telling Mario he's gonna get his just desserts tonight finally! He talks about how much trouble Mario has been through lately and how much he deserves this. Mario is feeling relaxed and loose- perhaps a bit much so.

-Mastery of Taybles: Champion @Eddv w/Caelus v. Mario
Mario is finally fully cleared for action after his Rumble incident, and hoping to take the belt off the man who picked his bones at Mania! Eddv on the other hand would love to redeem his loss to Sultan. Mario starts with a bulldog out of the gate, but Eddv retaliates with a big slam. They're just trading slams back and forth in there! Eddv finally decides to fight smarter instead of harder, and plants a boot in Mario's gut. Mario shakes it off and chucks Eddv out of the ring! Eddv is flattened by the landing. Mario works up the crowd, but here comes Caelus! Caelus smashes a bottle over Mario's head, and he stumbles forward...over the ropes....and t'rew a ringside tayble! Eddv is still struggling to find his feet, but that counts as a win, I guess!
Winner and STILL MoT: Eddv

-Mario grabs a mic after Eddv limps backstage with the title. He's almost glad he lost, because now....he's all free to put his career on the line against Kora! No turning back!
